Supernatural: The Spear (2018)
Boring
Just stab Dean already! Somewhere where it won't be lethal to him but will kill Michael. Easy! So tired of the angel crap! At this point I'm only watching to finish out the series.
Man of Steel (2013)
LOVE Henry Cavill as Superman!
Henry Cavill is by far the best superman EVER!!! I know a lot of people say Christopher reeves was the best. He wasn't the best, he was just the first. So everyone after him is compared to him. But Henry Cavill is so far superior to him Christopher reeve isn't even in the same league.
The Old Guard (2020)
Great movie
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Looking forward to the next one.
Black and Blue (2019)
Wow! Just WOW
Had me hooked from the first scene and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I do have to say that this movie also made me sad. Yes, I'm white, so no, I can't possibly know what it's like to be black. So the little glimpse they showed of what it's like to be black in today's world just made me so sad. To have to live with being beaten down all the time. It's just wrong. I wish everyone was color blind.
The Witcher (2019)
Came for Henry Cavill, stayed for the story
First off, I never read the books or played the games. I had never heard of The Witcher before reading that Henry Cavill had been cast in the main role. I wanted to watch it for that reason alone, Henry Cavill. Since seeing him in Man of Steel, I had to look him up on IMDb and watch everything he had ever been in.
The first couple episodes were very confusing and I was tempted to stop watching, but stuck with it hoping it would get better. And indeed it did. Especially after realizing they were jumping back and forth in time. Once that realization sank in, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Definitely looking forward to Season 2!
Secret Obsession (2019)
So bad
Can't believe Mike Vogel went from The Brave to this garbage. I want my hour and a half back. Just so, so bad.
Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
WOW!!!
Amazing episode! Totally expected Jon to be the one to kill the night king. I cheered out loud when it was Arya. This episode held my attention the entire time. My only complaint is the lighting. It was so dark I had a hard time making it out. And, no, it wasn't pirated. I watch on HBO Now.
Roswell, New Mexico (2019)
It's growing on me
I did not like this show at first. The original, at its core, was a love story. And that was what I loved about it. So with Liz hating Max for what he knew/hid from her about Rosa's death, I didn't see how that could possibly be resolved. But resolve it they did, and in a believable way. So now we have the love story that was missing. Now I can't wait for the next episode!
Like other reviewers have complained about, I do not like how they are shoving their liberal agenda down our throats. Just leave that crap out and let us have an hour of escapism entertainment.
I also hate how all shows nowadays HAVE to include a gay or trans character. We know they're out there, stop shoving it down our throats. With that being said, I do like this Michael. I didn't like him at first, but after he was with Maria too, he seemed much more relatable to me. I think it just seemed less like a political statement, more reflective of real life. Love is where you find it.
That's my 2 cents anyway.
