A truly amazing movie.
12 February 2005
The last samurai was awesome. The acting, the story, the characters. They were all perfect. Everything had a nice flow and fitted well with the story. The characters all had a unique sense to them which made the movie even more intriguing.

This movie is about a man, Nathan Algren, who is a man who hates what he does. He takes out villages for a living. He is asked to eliminate Katsumoto's tribe and to terminate his command. Algren gets captured by the samurai and is a prisoner of war. He begins to adjust to the samurai's way of life. I won't say much more about the story so as to not spoil it for you.

The acting was excellent. Ken Watanabe was perfect as Katsumoto. He makes the character very believable and seems like a real-life samurai.

I have to admit, this wasn't the best Tom Cruise has ever done, but it was close. He acted very emotionally and powerfully as Nathan Algren. He helps the movie and its powerful sense.

Koyuki also was excellent as Taka. She, in my opinion was one of the best actors (actress) in the movie. She made you feel what most people would have felt at those times for the samurai.

Anyway, for those who just would like to watch this movie for action, this is not for you. For those who want a good, powerful look at the last days of the samurai and really have a good feel for it, I strongly recommend this movie. 9/10

Awesome

OK. I loved this movie. I thought the story, the screenplay and the acting were all excellent. This movie is about Truman Burbank, a man who has been on TV ever since he was born. He starts to figure out whats happening and thats when this movie really gets interesting. I thought that the whole idea of a man inside a TV show was insane (of course it's just a movie). Although, when you actually see it, it's an amazing experience. By the end, you will be amazed. This movie is for people who want to watch something thats very unique from other films. This definitely qualifies as that. As I said earlier the screenplay is amazing. They use types of camera that wouldn't be seen on a movie, but, of course. TV. The acting was excellent. Every Character seeming believable to their roles as Characters who befriend Truman, in a fake world. All except for Truman and Christoff (The creator of the Truman Show) of course. Filled with excellent drama, and wonder, this is a movie not to be missed. 9/10

Genius, pure genius.

This game is a work of art. The gameplay, the graphics, the story, the characters, are all perfectly fitted into the game. I do not own this game but i rented it, and even though i beat it in about 2 days, i still would like to own it. This game far surpasses Metal gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. In this, you play as Naked Snake (Big boss), the whole time. You have to survive in the jungle but hunting and well obviously eating. The new cure system is a very good add on in my opinion. The boss fights are amazing. One of the best being the fight with the end(A dead sniper who comes back to life to kill Snake). One of the best visually though, has to be the fury. The best way to go through this game is stealth, although you could go through it killing everyone you see, but this makes it harder and also, by doing this, a fight with a certain boss may be a bit long. A cool new feature with this game is the camoflauge. Blending in with your surroundings and waiting for the perfect time to execute CQC (close quarters combat) will make you feel very accomplished. This game does take patience in some areas, but still very worth buying. The only flaw with this game, in my opinion, was the fact that i beat it in about 2 days, but still there is about no difference between playing this game and going to the movies. Overall I give this game a 9/10.

A prolonged episode
21 November 2004
I enjoyed this movie but by the end of it, it just felt like a very long episode. I enjoyed how this movie gave hints of other movies (Dawn of the Dead, The Matrix, Bicentennial Man) There were some things that were a bit untrue to the show. For example, squidwards reaction when he got saved by spongebob. There were many funny parts but almost as many stupid ones. I enjoyed the end song, but that whole scene with David Hasselhoff was one of the most stupid things I have ever seen. The randomness was great. Patricks stupidity of course. So overall, a movie with some pros and some cons, good fun if you are in the mood for a mindless movie. My rating 7/10

A well done sports movie, that wasn't all about the sport itself.

I enjoyed this movie. The way it was filmed was perfect and unique and it made the movie more believable. The acting was excellent, especially the guy who played James Miles. I liked how it wasn't too over the top like most sport movies, even the ones based on true stories. The games were fun to watch, but even in the games you could see character progression. The person who played the uncle of James was great. He stood out amongst characters. The movie had its intense moments. The last game was really well done. It wasn't exactly how you would expect it. I didn't like some of the parts with the rock music and all, like when they came out at the end. The ending was very very good though. This was a well done movie. 7/10

A Mighty Wind (2003)
Genius

This movie is great. And to think that there was no script involved makes it even better. They just worked so well. Also, if someone mentioned something that could be put into the movie, they did put that into the movie. Example: When the guy talked about the cruise, they actually made a poster of that cruise. The acting was excellent. That guy from American pie was great. Also the man who said, "Wha happened?". Genius. The songs weren't that great, but it didn't really matter. I am really hoping to see best in show. I don't know why some people really think this is an awful movie. It just is funny randomness. I am really hoping that they do not make a sequel cause that probably wouldn't be so great. Although it would be because of the great acting. Once again, this movie is genius.
