Bonkers/hilarious

I will never stay in a hotel again unless I am greeted with a full Busby Berkeley production.

From 9 to 4
4 March 2020
I used to love this show but I made a mistake. Prior to watching the final season, I decided to rewatch all the previous seasons. I just about got through seasons 1 to 3 but midway through season 4 I've bailed. This is not a binge watch show, you start to see the characters behaviour being rewritten to match the needs of the plot.

I'll still watch the final season and hope I still love it but I'll never try to rewatch it again.

Season 3 last four episodes made season three worth watching
18 August 2019
Season 1:. Loved it, original, disturbing, prescient, great cinematography. Season 2:. Nothing really changed so bit boring as a result. Season 3:. Episodes 1 to 9. How many times can you have red handmaid's walking through white so and think your being clever when there is no plot to speak of. Oh my god, there's a circle of green Marthas, that makes all the difference...... not. Season 3:. Episodes 10 to 13. Ok, you're forgiven, I'll watch season 4 now something has actually happened.

I cried laughing
17 July 2019
I have never cried laughing watching a Seth Rogen movie before. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure I've ever laughed at a Seth Rogen movie before.

Season 1 is ok, season 2 was meh, season 3.... Oh dear
7 July 2019
I liked season 1, some of the characters were annoying but it is a slasher movie so being annoying is kinda normal I guess. Season 2 was better but the annoying characters started to be a barrier to watching. Season 3 was good with the central 3 characters but no one around them behaved in any way like a human being. That just destroyed the season for me. I know it's a slasher thing but bloody hell, a little bit of humanity wouldn't go amiss.

Dear script writers - when did the Avengers get so angry?
1 July 2019
Seems like everyone in the show is angry all the time. Black Panther is an entitled self-righteous control freak, the rest of the Avengers aren't much better. The only person who is true to character is Iron Man as he has always been a self-righteous control freak. Maybe I'm expecting too much from animation but a little bit of subtlety would be good.

Errmmmm......... Season 2......... Ermmmmm

When there are so many possible things a character can do, the ones in this show ALWAYS choose the one that will get them killed or at the very least ensure that the end result is the opposite of what they wanted to happen.

Ignore the trolls, you'll enjoy the movie.
16 June 2019
Ignore the troll misogynists who this it's unforgivable that a woman might be a lead character, the movie is fun. You'll have forgotten the plot by the time the credits roll but it's MIB, I don't think your supposed to be discussing the political philosophy of The Hive, the Hord or whatever the chief baddy is called as you drive home. Just enjoy the movie.

If you love melodrama, you'll love this show
11 June 2019
It was interesting to begin with and every time Kevin took his clothes off it got more interesting but the melodrama and overacting and not enough Kevin started to get really annoying. If you love Melrose Place, you'll love this show. If you don't, you won't.

Love it but some of the plot needs a little less stupidity
24 May 2019
Great show, desperate to watch season 2 BUT please please please, no more people doing stupid things just to advance the plot. It works the first time I watched the show but it really makes watching it a second time borderline annoying when they happen. Still, it's not nearly as bad as Nightflyers which had allegedly intelligence scientists and engineers behaving like idiots.

It's the difference between 'oh please' and 'oh for fcks sake I can't watch this anymore'.

Nazis and dinosaurs, could it be any better.
15 May 2019
Somewhere in movieland lives the idea that any good movie should have Nazis in it and if you can't have Nazis then have dinosaurs. So, clearly the best movie should have both, along with every other cheesy concept that can be crammed into one movie. Absolutely loved it, along with Kit Dale who should have taken his clothes off more often.

Put your analytical brain on hold and just enjoy the ride. It's awesomely bonkers.

A great show just got better, thanks Netflix
9 May 2019
I've always enjoyed this show. It was light, fluffy and a joy the watch. Somehow, being on Netflix has turned it into a great show. I've started to care about the characters, even Amenadiel.

I think I love it
20 February 2019
I think I love the show but I go from really enjoying it to getting really mad at it in the blink of an eye and it's all down to who is on screen.

Please stop flipping Liz's character
14 February 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I used to love this show but I'm struggling this season. The writers have a long history of Liz flipping from 'I hate you Reddington' to 'I love you Reddington' multiple times within a season and possibly within an episode.

This season however, she appears to have a split personality as her feelings change depending on who she's talking to. Will I keep watching, yes. Am I enjoying it, no. I'm just hoping there is some kind of payoff.

Seasons 1 to 3, cheesy but great. Season 4.... Oh dear
1 December 2018
Used to really enjoy this show but season 4 takes the script writers 'dont worry about the silly story lines and just enjoy the show' to a whole new level and breaks the pact with the viewer that it may be silly but you'll enjoy the ride. I'm not enjoying the ride, it's just too silly now even though Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio looks awesome and acts everyone else off the screen.

I really want to love it but......
1 December 2018
I really want to live it but I'm just not invested in the characters I the way I was with Rebels and Clone Wars.

Episode 8 has just been aired and I still don't care if anyone lives or dies and I'm also wondering when something is going to happen. I know Dave Feloni likes to develop his characters over time but by this time in Rebels I had started to care about Ezra and gang. Kazuda and the rest, not so much.

Great idea but generic writing
27 November 2018
I listened to a podcast years ago about how good movie scripts are tested. A company of script editors whose only purpose for existence is to make sure people behave the way a real person would. This company is badly needed in this show. Characters react only to maximise the drama, not because they are real people.

If this gets to season two, I won't be watching.

Wynonna Earp (2016–2021)

Loved seasons 1 and 2 but.......
27 November 2018
Warning: Spoilers
What happened to season 3?

I don't know if I've changed or the show has but the storyline this season felt gratuitous and the editing was just plain odd. Dolls dies and it's not about him dying, it's about how the Earp girls feel. I've cried over characters deaths in other shows I love. When characters die in books, I've cried. Dolls dies and if you blink you miss it but don't worry, Wynonna is going to tell you how she feels for AGES.

I was relieved when the finale was over, not sure I'll be watching season 4.

Not a perfect movie but still worthy of a ten.
7 November 2018
This is not the best movie ever made, it doesn't have the best plot, and it doesn't play all the hits all the way to the end. Boo boo! It's a movie not a concert. Having said that the audience I was in were stamping their feet, clapping their hands and behaving like they were in a concert and it was fantastic!

Other movies may come along in time that delve more into Freddie's psychy but I don't care, I loved this movie with all its historical inaccuracies because it did what it was supposed to, it reminded me how brilliant Freddie was.

When the audience laughs, things aren't going well
25 June 2018
Warning: Spoilers
If I could give this movie a zero, I would. Toni Collette had clearly been told to overact and probably make her lines up as she went along. Gabriel Byrne had been told to do the opposite and underact or he just couldn't understand why none of the lines were in his script.

When you can't help yourself burst out laughing at the alleged scary bits they are filmed so badly, things aren't going very well. When have the audience is doing it with you, it does make you wonder why it was called a horror movie.

When Gabriel Byrn catches fire, all the furniture had been pushed out the way to make sure it didn't burst into flames! Come on! How can anyone give this a ten!
