John Heard shines in this whodunnit! The Father from Big Daddy plays the mob boss and Cliff O'Malley even shows up!
The meat of the film is Heard and his relationship with his girlfriend. It's real, it's heartfelt. She's a coroner, he's an insurance claims adjuster.
Only thing I didn't like was that a freakin diary of the dead guy was read for half the movie to understand what happened and why was the weird guy banging the girl with the jumbo knockers - what was the point of that scene? They oddly never swore once in the film but you see women's balloon bags.
Why was this movie made? Who cares but John Heard is always fun to watch.
