Gutterballs (2008)
9/10
This movie rocks!
31 March 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Without having seen Ryan Nicholson's previous film "Live Feed," I sat down to watch "Gutterballs" with no expectations on what to expect from Plotdigger Films. I have to say that after years of searching for movies with gore and nudity to the max, "Gutterballs" pleased in areas that "Hostel" and "Saw" just couldn't. The gore and death scenes were over the top and hilarious. (How else do you describe that ball waxer scene?) However, the rape scene was very shocking, yet I could not turn away. If you look closely, you can see subtle references to different movies. The opening credits reminds one of "A Nightmare on Elm Street," and there's a very clever nod to "The Accused." At 4 minutes, it was a little much. In closing, I'd like to say that this is a very good movie that proves that over the top gore can be both funny and shocking. An awesome throwback to the 80s that will fit in with other Canadian slashers like "Happy Birthday to Me" and "My Bloody Valentine." 9/10

The Whitest Kids U'Know (2007–2011)

Wet your pants funny!
6 January 2008
I started watching this show after being bombarded with ads on Fuse. The clips in the promos made me chuckle a bit, but the actual show had me laugh so hard, I almost wet my pants! Most of the humor is so absurd and obscene, you can't help but laugh at it. The next day, I was emailing clips from YouTube to my friends, and reading about the group. My favorite sketches are the song skits. "Hitler Rap," "Wake Up The Neighbors," "Get a New Daddy," and "Gon' Make Luv" are so outrageous that I can't believe that I'm laughing at the content. They also give completely messed up views of workplace life, history, drinking, dating and life in general. In short, The Whitest Kids U'Know is a show that needs to be seen to be appreciated. Not for the young, old, squeamish, prim, proper, prudish, or faint of heart!

Best horror movie I've ever seen! (spoilers within)
18 July 2005
Warning: Spoilers
This movie dethroned Dr. Giggles as the best horror movie I've ever seen. The plot was great, the plot twists were even better and the cast was great. It's hard to believe that they compiled the most unknown people 8 years ago and they would be big names today!

The plot is simple. 4 teenagers wreck their car in the middle of nowhere. They stumble on this campsite and do what everybody who is in an accident should do. Build a fire and tell scary stories.

1. "The Hook." Great opener. Anyone who is in High School has heard variations of this story on Prom night. But they do it real good in this movie.

2. "The Honeymoon." OK, this was not the best of the 4. It was pretty good and you get to see some boob. Emphisis on the word "some." It's just your basic creature in the woods story.

3. "People Can Lick Too." This is a cautionary tale of what happens in internet chat rooms all across the country. This segment alone should be required viewing for parents whose children have access to the internet.

4. "The Locket." Now this is the best story in the whole movie. A guy on a motorcycle breaks down and goes to this mute girl's house. Very good plot twist.

The main plot, "The Campfire" has the biggest and best twist in the whole movie. I won't tell what it is cause I don't want to ruin it. I was never this shocked during a movie in my life!

Plot: A+

Acting: A+

Writing: A+

Directing: A+

Music: A+

Overall: A+

I recommend it to anyone over 13 with the exception of "People Can Lick Too." Any parent who's child has access to the internet needs to watch this one with their child.

Hail to the king, Baby!
17 June 2005
Warning: Spoilers
Army of Darkness is one of the greatest movies ever. Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell have made some of the best movies together. I think this movie will appeal especially to teenage boys who are looking for a good laugh. Can you believe that over 15 minutes of this movie was cut for a happier ending? A lot of people in my school have watched this movie and have loved it! The story is that Ash winds up 1500 years in the past. I can't wait to get my DVD copy when I can find one. I can only hope that Evil Dead is as good as this masterpiece! Sam Raimi's best movie!!! I recommend it to anyone over 16. All Together Now: Clatto Verata Nicto

Dr. Giggles (1992)

Greatest horror movie EVER!!!
17 May 2005
Warning: Spoilers
And now for the one good review on IMDb. Dr. Giggles is by far the best horror movie ever made. It includes some of the best death scenes (come on, I mean a makeshift liposuction?) The characters have depth and great acting skill, I mean even Larry Drake can ham it up as the villain. Holly Marie Combs is the hottest damsel in distress I have ever seen. Let's be fair here, I have seen some pretty bad reviews on here, and somebody needs to do a good one. Who better than the guy who's seen it 30 times? This movie had the best one liners (Take 2 and call me in the morning!) deaths (I never knew a band-aid and a thermometer could kill somebody!)and actors (Holly Marie Combs = the hottest girl in a horror movie) I have ever seen. SEE THIS MOVIE!!! IT'S WORTH THE HOUR AND A HALF OUT OF YOUR DAY!
