Brightburn (2019)
Don't listen to the bad reviews!
This film was absolutely an adventure! If you like thrillers you'll love it. Story was obvious from the trailer but still enjoyable. A lot of unanswered questions but I feel it's either going to have follow up films or the story left itself open for you to decide. Most of the issues I have read was that it was too gory...SERIOUSLY that's your problem?! Another was the character development and I disagree! The development of the characters were slight but they offered enough to like them. All in all it was a fun film that has potential to have some AWESOME sequels!
A Little Late with Lilly Singh: Mindy Kaling/Rainn Wilson (2019)
Cringe
The whole episode was just about white people and being a women. Extremely cringe when she interviewed. Hopefully the material gets better and she can be more comfortable. But this episode was CRINGE
The Righteous Gemstones: Interlude (2019)
Filler episode but very enjoyable
Yes this episode gives nothing but character development yet still enjoyable. Acting was amazing and Jeniffer Nettles did a great job!
Final Destination 3 (2006)
Better then the 2nd!
I just decided to sit down and watch all of the Final Destinations. And I can say that the third one is the best casted and most believable of all of them. Yet the Plot holes and the story in general was kind of lacking. But the acting and the character development was actually better than all of the movies.
Wildlife (2018)
Favorite Jake Gyllenhaal film!
I am a huge Jake Gyllenhaal fan and make it a priority to watch all of his films. At first when I saw the Wildlife trailer I was excited because it looked like it would be good. And after watching the film I was pleasantly surprised that it's actually one of my favorite Jake Gyllenhaal films. The cinematography is beautifu! The pace is slow but a good kind of slow. I love the realism on how a child sees both parents going through marital problems and there are issues on both sides. The performances by everyone was as good as it can get. Only issue I can say is that I was hoping Ed Oxenbould's character would have a moment of complete anger towards his parents but still was a great movie.
The Haunting of Hill House: Two Storms (2018)
This episode changed my mind about this series
I started watching this series from the start and I was extremely disappointed with the hype. To many flash forwards and backwards. Acting is HORRIBLE! And it's just not that scary. But OMG this episode took a turn. Acting was still bad but more believable. The situation they are in makes sense and has very creepy imagery. And the cinematography....OHMYGOD! Beautiful!!!! Still not crazy about this series but I'm back on board to give it a shot!
