The Lost Girls (2022)
out of everything
Initially I agreed with those who found the movie worthwhile, and given less insecure practitioners the project would have succeeded but insular paranoia prevailed and the tale had to revert to a locale where they all felt more secure. I gave up when Wendy and friend were drifting past the empress of thorns and abandoned seppoland and all those who fester in it.
The Heart of Man (2017)
Valuable
Just finished watching the film. I was totally confused who the senior player was until I saw the credits. If he was the father why did he chase the son. If he was God, why did he need physical tools to break the son free and why did he ignore all the other prisoners. And the son was not prodigal in the real sense, only in the traditional church sense. That's my head speaking and it had nothing to do with the value of the film. I think it is a tremendously important tool and one that will reach a lot more people than traditional church tools and methods, because it's real people being vulnerable and true, and it shows hope and grace in action.
