The Family Man (2000)
Procreation Propaganda
This film is supposed to make people feel more family oriented, and I felt like that message was being shoved down my throat. Annoying film, decent acting.
One may find it sad, but this isn't the film for people like myself who prefer to remain child-free.
The wife is the worst character; illogical emotional, and not at all a kind, loving wife.
They should have labelled this a 'romantic comedy' (even though it isnt remotely funny).
I am not at all pleased that I was forced to watch this film, and if I could take this time back I would. Do yourself a favour and watch something else. Anything.
The Voyeurs (2021)
The acting is bad but it goes somewhere you didn't expect

Glad she got it good, I can relate
Happy ending <3.
American Factory (2019)
Ever wondered what modern CCP propaganda looks like?
Watch this and wonder no more. I am happy that the children of these workers will grow up in a better environment, and that a closed factory was reopened, and they are learning to live alongside each other but...you've got to take this stuff with a grain of salt and question why it's portrayed this way.
I hope they at least rehired the remaining 1000 unemployed locals, and are open about how much they disclose with foreign governments (they're legally required to give over all data)
The Ingenuity of the Househusband (2021)
Tsuda Kenjirô is an underrated legend
I have been appreciating his work since the early 2000s and I must say it was refreshing to watch him narrate this informative and comedic series. Absolutely amazing seiyuu adding to his impressive resume. Must Watch.
Luca (2021)
Why did you ruin it?
The high rating is due to the promise the show had, but as soon as they fell in love, it started to slide.
The cult idea was pretty well executed, and there was a bit of animal activism somehow...but it took way too long to explain things after the farm scene, and the story doesn't really go anywhere...unless we get a season 2.
Which I will probably still hate-watch.
The female protagonist was so irrational and misandristic that I began to wish her dead towards the end.
Plenty of fun deaths, and good special effects, but the story was slow-paced enough without all the slow motion...and super slow motion.
Had to finish it; even though I was getting steadily more disappointed, but luckily it's pretty bearable on 1.25x (or 2x for the super slow mo).
Fight scenes were one of the strongest parts of the show, and I haven't scene another female actress fight the way she does so she at least had that.
