The movie probably went a bit overboard in telling its story. The actor's performance was too much, almost like they were trying too hard, and the film made the characters' problems seem bigger than they really are. I get that sometimes a movie needs to amp up the emotions to make a point, but here, it kept that intense level from start to finish and didn't even wrap up the story well. This made the movie feel like it was just trying to make us feel sorry for the characters, rather than telling a good story.

However, the movie does have a meaningful message at its core, and in some places, the over-the-top acting might have been necessary to get the emotions across. But sticking with that approach all the way through, without giving the story a proper ending, was a mistake that turned the movie into what felt like a long plea for sympathy.

There's one good thing that might come out of this movie, though. It could make people think twice about making reckless decisions, like jumping into something risky without thinking it through. If the exaggerated struggles shown in the movie make viewers more cautious about taking big risks without planning, then at least the movie has done something useful. In a roundabout way, the movie's over-the-top take on its story could end up being a warning to think carefully before diving into something dangerous.

A simple comedy which did not need any logic has been destroyed with unnecessary logic and then it becomes illogical and tries to prove something. Extremely irritating when something that is supposed to be simple is made complex and then destroyed in the complexity.

If you were hoping to laugh, you will be welcomed with unnecessary twists and turns and emotions to end up making you cry. The whole business of comedy is lost.

This movie does not deserve even a free viewing, absolute time waster. Acting and mismatched scenes only add to the agony of having to watch this nonsense to the viewers.

In the search for the cheapest form of Drama i.e. Unnecessary dances and worthless fights, they wasted time and then at the end finished the movie in a hurry, this could have been translated into something much bigger, but after all the intention of the movie maker is to make a few bucks not to do anything else.

The movie started with a good introduction and went straight to the issue, which is great, it then left some logical flaws, but by and large built a great story around this, it did highlight the issues that need to be highlighted which was all great, however towards the end there was no more time and hence the hurried ending made the whole experience less valuable.

At every turn in the movie the producers of this movie have just played a joke, they are aware of the weak feelings of general people and have used it to plant negative feelings about rich people in general, while they themselves benefit from being uber rich. Ridiculous joke, I wish such movies are shown the right status, just because it is made for kids it cannot be totally without any logic or coherence.

As soon as someone sees the first scene in the movie, you can guess the entire story if you have watched enough Tamil movies and the typical path it would take. This atrocity is not even worth if you are watching for free.

I cannot praise this film enough, comes at a time when there are not many good movies around and has good comedy, good acting and the overall film is well made.

I laughed throughout the movie, loved it.

This is such a ridiculous movie that it can neither be called a comedy nor a horror movie, such a basic formula movie which should be deleted from history! Ridiculous.

The movie turns you more violent with an occasional joke in between, not worth the time. The only scenes that is a consolation are the ones where Ilavarasu appears, the rest of it is junk.

Every place that the heroine appears sounds fake, illogical and uninteresting.

Movie is for entertainment, a storytelling act, making the person watching feel afraid or to cause any negative emotions should not be the intention of the movie, I had to watch this movie on subtitles alone, without the background music, it did feel an ok movie, good acting, different story, though it has many logical flaws, I would have said its a good movie if you discount the background music.

Fake ratings push the film high, real reviews are pouring in now.

It is extremely predictable, too dramatic and repeats a formula that has been repeated a zillion times in the industry, waste of time, doesn't deserve the comedy genre either.

This movie lacks anything that you can appreciate in a good movie, really bad movie that doesnt deserve a 6.2 even if you double the deserved ratings.

The only reason it deserves a 3 star is because people acted well, the overall production and movie flow is decent.

The story deserves a zero on ten. I can understand fake media reviews to get a good rating in the initial days, but in the long run this will become a below average show.

This isnt entertainment by any stretch of imagination, this is straight plain dull documentary ***. This is not comedy, it isnt a movie, life is anyways boring and dull, why watch this movie and waste a couple of hours.

One of the worst movies of Santhanam, he has truly failed both as a comedian and anything else that he is attempting to, such a bad combination of incompetent acting, incoherent story, illogical sequences and a half baked romance.

At times humans run ahead of their own success, Santhanam is a good looking actor and comedian, but this attempt shows he has probably started his dissent from the peak, as he has tried to jump to being a hero and failed terribly. I hope he stops this madness and returns to what he is good at.

What happens when a bunch of amateur film makers think up a script that feels so out of touch with reality? Add to this the fact that they want to make a horror movie?

This movie is bad in every dimension, trying to scare people with dark scenes and badly mixed horror music. To make things interesting the viewers are told a lie in the beginning, making this illogical and totally worthless, if you watch despite this warning please don't blame the makers 😃

This movie is neither a comedy nor a romantic movie, it is the worst of both. Illogical and incoherent are the two best words that match this movie. The other ratings seem totally fake. Please avoid if you wish to not be angered and disappointed by this total nonsense.

If this was a comedy movie, there is no place for emotions, bad taste to have such a weak character as the protoganist, shameful character makes it hard to even watch the full movie

There is one dialogue in the movie that I think fits the person who made this movie - you don't deserve to live (NEE VAAZHA THAKUTHI ILLATHAVAN)

First if this was really intended to be a thriller, why make this movie with the protagonist being pregnant, its simple, he wants to play with your emotions in every dimension, basically to try and emote you to his success, I am sure this would be a disaster, but the intention to kill so many people's three hours with such bad intention deserves a punishment so hard that these people are not allowed to make another movie, making a bad movie is different from having such ulterior intentions is indigestible.

So many logical flaws

There is no explanation on why so many young children were let loose in the first place, when Ajay was originally lost, the mother had no one to ask about the child, how did so many children go alone? I mean no school authorities, no adult supervision??? Is that believable?

There are numerous scenes in the movie when the mother leaves the child alone again, every time raising the BP of the watcher for no good reason, with constant emotional manipulation with bad music (yes anything that serves no good purpose is bad regardless of the mastery involved in making it) that you can escape only by forwarding / muting audio.

The child has just been found and is just 8 years old, if the mother is so concerned can he not sleep in the same room as the mom, wow such western culture in TN, then why does the mother cry like a typical TN woman at times? Height of confusion? To top it all, the child sleeps in a room which is fully covered just in glass in the ground floor with no lock, or such a weak lock that the villain could just walk into the room with no difficulty at all, wow, such safety you know, another area where there are numerous scenes with bad music torture.

I made notes of 2 pages on just logical flaws in the movie, but honestly, don't ever watch this if you are expecting a logical thriller or if you are susceptible to emotional ups and downs.

Bad acting, unrealistic storyline it felt like watching a bad drama on stage with no coordination or control, 7.5 rating on IMDB.

I dont know why people rate this 10 on 10, I mean I am searching for a negative rating really, I am ashamed I paid for this, its such an irritating piece that you will probably stop watching movies all your life

First there is no logic in the way the lead characters behave, they cover it up as innocence and such inexplainable reasons, there is a mad killer who kills people for no reason, then there is this caste issue which is inserted with no logic. Just because it touches upon a sensitive issue, you cant sit in front of third rated show, you are bound to get angry.

There are so so many things that could have been done better, but hey let me take the time to say a great step in the right direction. If you are someone who is not willing to be emotionally indulged and love a social subject with a bit of typical cinematic stuff, then yes this is it, you may not get many such movies please watch.

Personally I would like movie makers to control the itch to add the artificial fights and the out-of-screenplay songs. Imagine the depth of the movie without those and a bit more of logical screenplay wow, then we are talking of a masterpiece.

But it was a genuinely good feeling coming out of the movie and yes not everyone in the audience would enjoy a total logical package so I think its a class 1 entertainer and Arvind Swamy and Ravi have done exceedingly well. The lead actress Nayanthara to her credit also supports very well to the plot.

Must watch!
