King & Maxwell: Family Business (2013)
Season 1, Episode 7

The only decent episode in this sad TNT replacement for Leverage
26 February 2014
This episode brought a new dimension and pivotal missing character to an otherwise two-dimensional show. The addition of Christian Kane's character JT Maxwell helped bring light and shade, a depth of humour and development to this light drama. Something missing in other episodes are fairly light and lacking in depth. The script and role play often let the two regular actors down and a lack of chemistry was painstakingly obvious from the beginning. The addition of Kane brought an interesting familial chemistry between JT and his sister, one the show could have done well with involving on a more permanent basis.

I did not know either actor either, which I don't suppose helped in the long run. It was hardly a surprise to hear that TNT did not pick this up for a second year, though that is hardly a yard-stick to use regarding the quality of the show.

Cold War.....Kane Style!
30 July 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Directed by the Award Winning Timothy Hutton Combat Training by the awesome Zulu 7 Team, headed by Dale Comstock Filmed in one day!! This short film stars an array of characters including Drew Powell, Emmaunelle Vaugier, Silas Mitchell Weir and Dale Comstock and last but not least Christian Kane.

Kane (Leverage, Angel) plays Jeff Ivanov and attacks the role with his usual aplomb. There's nothing this man can't do, so it seems and his easy and casual style has been likened to 'the Swiss Army Knife of actors'. The storyline gives him plenty of opportunity to show off his skills and I thoroughly recommend this Short to anyone who likes a good action packed movie. You won't be left wanting.

However, we've got to pass this Short around in order for the film to be picked up for Production. Please share it with your friends and in turn their friends.
