Modern Love: Take Me as I Am, Whoever I Am (2019)
Surreal and honest
Someone familiar with bipolar disorder could sense the doom coming within the first couple minutes. As soon as you saw the exaggerated happiness you just knew. And you were waiting for the other shoe to drop. It felt so real even tho it was portrayed in such a surreal way. Anne Hathaway killed it in this role. The scene in the bathroom where she is trying to talk herself out of falling into depression was so real and raw. If you don't watch any of the other episodes, this one is a must.
Child's Play (2019)
Loved it!
This new imagining of Chucky was great. It was funny new a different. No, it was nothing like the old chucky, but it's not supposed to be. I thought it was great and I've seen it twice already. I do not understand why so many people are giving it so much hate. I am a fan of all the old chucky movies and I don't hold anything against this remake. You should definitely give it a chance.
