Gloriously Complex: One Fine Day (2012)
Not the best
There was a lot of hype about this episode, along the lines of "finally an episode without sheep". I was intrigued - I don't usually watch this series, but an episode without sheep does sound good. If there aren't any sheep, what will the plot be? How would they pull this off?
So there I was, sat in front of my television, a bowl of lightly-salted popcorn in my hand (I do like popcorn, and sweet popcorn is not my thing), waiting for the episode to start.
As soon as it started, I knew that it wasn't going to be good. What's the first thing on the screen? A sheep. What's the next thing? Another sheep.
You get the drift. Basically it's a series about sheep. That's it. If you enjoy that kind of thing, fine. I don't.
I like Jackie Chan.
Testing Movie1 (2015)
One of the best movies of 2012
Initially I wasn't sure. But then I decided to watch it anyway. I am so glad I did, it was really awesome.
I won't reveal the plot, but it was really well-made. You can hardly tell that it's just a testing movie, everything looks so real and life-like. Some of the actors are amateurs, but that didn't matter - as an experience it was well worth my time.
Also, I watched it for free. Usually that's not ideal, because you feel obliged to write a glowing review when you get something for free, but in this case I can say that I'm completely unbiased, and it was simply a good movie.
