If you like it, something is wrong with you
30 January 2024
I think my heading says enough. If you like this movie, then something is seriously wrong with your brain. I wanted to see this movie only because I read that this is a blockbuster hit. And now I am questioning to those people who made it a hit, what is wrong with you? How can a sane person praise this level of misogynistic nature in a man? How is killing illogically justified? And in what world does killing go unnoticed by the police? Never once did I see any police whatsoever. Everything with this movie is wrong. I wonder what kind of a person would write such a storyline and then choose to act on it. The actor even got the best actor award. Why are we praising misogyny? Where are all the equal rights activists? Let's ban such a garbage.

Best thing ever on tv. Game of thrones please move over. Go away

This is unexpected. I did not expect this show to be so good. Much better than GOT, better story plot, emotional and I am in love with Uhtred and his loyal supporters!

Watch it, this is highly underrated. This deserves better ratings for sure. The quality got better with each season and I was surprised how emotional it was. The season finale was absolutely superb.

I also enjoyed the so called villains of the show. Now eagerly waiting for the movie. The setting was brilliant, the fighting scenes were so real.

Overall this was an amazing show, something that kept me glued to the screens in a long time.

I am a bit confused about the bad ratings. Maybe the story has some plotholes, some decisions taken by the characters are utterly stupid but how things turn out is awsome, unexpected and so crazy that I loved it. Being someone who watches a lot of shows, I am always thinking what will happen next and if I cannot predict it, when something completely out of the world happens, I am hooked.

And watching David Tennant is a pleasure. Watch it till the end and you won't regret it. Reminds me a bit of Fargo season 1. Craziness. I strongly suggest viewers to not rate it based only on episode one or two.

Why is this show bad? I want to cry
27 October 2022
I should have stopped but I wanted to see how bad a show can be. No story line, terrible acting from most of the actors, but the award for bad acting goes to the Anya character of course. Most parts seem like dragging unnecessarily to fill in screen time. Maybe a movie would have been more tolerable than a 10-episode series. I have no idea what I am seeing, and I fear the scrip writers and director also has no idea what is happening.

No matter what the genre, things need ro be logical. This is absolute gibberish. Sincerely hoping there is no renewal of this show.

Whatever respect I have for Netflix, dipped down. Why is this a netflix original?

Absolutely Terrible

Come on Netflix, you can do better!!

I understand that people generally have a higher interest in famous people's partners. But this is absolutely terrible. I cannot afford even a minute of my time to hear someone pretend to be worth it.

I fear, people with interest for C-grade content is dragging Netflix down.

Excellent piece of work

Better than Mohanogor and Contract.

I must praise Afran Nisho's acting. Siam was also excellent. Mahiya Mahi looked good but she could have done better in terms of acting.

But overall, a really good series and at this moment I feel this is underrated.

Please don't get the wrong message!

Did the actors do their job properly? Yes

Is this what really happens in America? I am not an American but I sincerely hope and pray this is not how people get rich in this country.

A story does not need to always show angels, I get that. But as known, even to be a criminal you need to get your morals straight. I cannot ever praise such a shallow script. To all people who want to be rich and famous, please don't get misguided. Please do work hard and don't rip off others, especially the elderly.

Sad but must watch
15 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Well made. Cannot really comment on acting as it was based on actual footage. It was sad to see how the events of the story unravelled.

One thing that the documentary failed to reflect upon is the role of the mistress. Until a divorce takes place, no matter what the situation is, two people are still legally married and in such circumstances, I have no clue why a girl would want to be someone's mistress. Irrespective of race, religion, and gender, CHEATING is morally wrong. Even when something is legally allowed it does not necessarily mean it is a cool thing, for example CHEATING or extra marital affairs.

We at times fail to abide by ethical guidelines. Strong morals are absolutely mandatory for both males and females.

And for the man himself, I am simply at a loss to comment about anything.

Not amazing but nevertheless a good one
15 October 2020
I was skeptical about starting this show as the rating was not on the high scale. But I did nevertheless start and I would still recommend others to watch it, despite the negative user reviews.

So the show has both positive and negative aspects. There are some plot holes, such as why Michael C. Hall decided to look for his daughter himself. Logically it should be done by the police force, which brings me into another plot hole where the police force is nothing but plain stupid. It is either that, or it is just terrible acting by the female lead. The motive also seemed a bit weak but that is just my subjective opinion.

When it comes to acting, Michael C Hall did a superb job as expected. He faked a british accent I believe, which probably can be noticed at times. I was pleasantly surprised to see practically no change whatsoever in his physical appearance from his Dexter days. Pretty much everyone from the cast did a good job. However I have severe issues with Amanda Abbington's acting. I have no clue why she kept biting her lips throughout the show (probably trying to look cute or lustful but whatever the reason she looked revolting). She should really sit down, watch the show and contemplate on what a terrible acting job she did.

It is not as good as "How to get away with Murder" for example, but still worth watching.

Alia as disappointing as ever
15 June 2020
Tired of watching movies with such budget where the cast is made purely because of nepotism and not proper capability. Acting below par, though the set looks well made and expensive. I miss those times when Karan Johar used to hire actors who are there based on their acting skills and not because they belong to famous families. Shame to see bollywood going down.

A fun to watch movie
14 March 2019
I really liked it. The storyline is not out of the world but the cast were superb in terms of acting and the sense of humour saved the film. The film could have been shortened which I would consider to be a flaw but overall it really is a fun movie to watch and I would recommend it.

Bollywood needs more movies like this
21 December 2018
I have spent years watching only movies which are highly publicised and ended up regretting watching movies of big budget but low quality content. After a long time I watched this movie based on a friend's recommendation. i was surprised as to why I have not heard of this movie before. Good movies should be praised and not just a big star cast. The movie kept me hooked throughout, and even when the film ended I debated myself with the answer. It is not only the ending that matters but also the journey and for me this movie had both. It is usually very hard to end something on a good note which has a good build up but this movie was definitely an exception. I suggest you watch this movie because it is worth it.

A praiseworthy father daugther duo
7 December 2018
It was absolutely amazing. Both are witty, fun to listen to and I genuinely enjoyed the show. I would say Saif Ali khan was at his best with his sense of humor and Sara Ali Khan definitely takes from her father. One of the best episodes of this season.

Varun Dhawan is worth this episode
20 November 2018
Judging based on how witty the talk show is, I would say this episode was a bit of a let down ( but that is always the case when Katrina Kaif is a guest). Varun dhawan's responses were funny and I enjoyed the whole episode except the fake cuteness from Katrina. In comparison to other episodes, especially the one with Saif and Sara Ali khan, this episode is a bummer.

I am a die hard fan of the comic series and I know the characters in and out from the comic books. So initially I was disappointed to see the characters being slightly played from a different perspective but the show grows into you. If you love Archies, you cannot at any cost avoid this show. Its different but has certain essential elements from the Archies and I urge viewers to watch it with an open mind. I must admit that the casting has been phenomenal. The acting is great though I expected better from the character Jughead. The storyline is promising. Its obligatory to watch the show because as an advent fan of Archies you would definitely want to see the characters in real life.
