Monsters of Man (2020)
Really solid action/sci fi
Went in to this bored one afternoon not knowing what to expect with the low scores on here but how pleasantly surprised I was. This film was honestly excellent, the actors most of which I never heard of, performed their roles admirably, the scene and setting was amazing and the CGI was brilliant given the budget. More than this it was a very well directed and put together film. I honestly don't understand the criticism. It's not a masterpiece by any means but as far as entertainment goes it's very good.
Stowaway (2021)
Utterly awful writing poly hole central
I'm sorry, it may have decent actors most of whom I have enjoyed in other movies but the plot has literally so many horrendous plot holes it's unreal! There's literally no explanation for how he was there? No back ups? The list goes on, I'm sorry but this is awful.
The Invisible Man (2020)
Plot holes...you bet
I'm sorry but at times I just don't understand the reviews on this site. There were soooooooo many plot holes it just ruined what other wise could have been a half decent film. I'm afraid that a good film can easily be ruined when the narrative simply doesn't follow and this is one of those cases.
K-Shop (2016)
Wow
Well stumbled upon this on Amazon prime and wow what a film, the atmosphere was spot on capturing the seedy UK nightlife and the performance by Ziad abaza was immense, never seen him anything else but he did an amazing job. The plot is simple but effective and keeps you coming back for more at nearly two hours it kept my attention for every second. Great great film.
The Perfection (2018)
Good effort
Why the bad reviews?! I honestly feel like I'm watching a different film to other reviewers. This was well acted, well shot with excellent performances from both the leads. Yes it's not an all time classic but it kept me ENTERTAINED the entire time and surely that's the name of the game? Good film with good twists. Nice one Netflix.
