An American Carol (2008)
Excellent spoof on current 'feel good' non-thinking MTV pop culture
Finally someone created a movie based on common sense! And very funny at that. Especially, I loved depicting of college "educators" and American Communist Lawyer Union (ACLU). Sometimes not funny though, since it is depicting the real state of ultraleft-wing mind. Correctly shows the fanaticism of MTV 'educated' intelligence-deprived generation. Extra memorable is the tragicomic scene from Cuban hospital providing free health care for all. Highly recommend this movie. Short, but extremely powerful performance by John Voight.
This movie will become classic just as Airplane did.
Now when we all hate most lawyers for being unscrupulous liars would there be a sequel on our Marxist lawyer aka BO?
The Wave (1981)
Excellent, one of my favorite, ever!
Saw it twenty years ago and still one of the best psychological movies ever made. It should be mandatory watching at every school.
For those who did not see it yet, it depicts the danger of crowd/group thinking and how really dangerous charismatic people are. They can sway otherwise normally thinking people to their way, without these people being aware of it! Few of famous/infamous very charismatic people are: Barack Hussein Obama, Bill Clinton, Yassir Arafat, Pol Pot, Fidel Castro, Stalin, Hitler, Lenin. Go figure.
For those of you, who have it, let me know how did you get hold of it. I'd like to buy it, but it's nowhere to be found.
Night Crossing (1982)
Must see for everyone who thinks that freedom is free - it is NOT!
Probably grossly underrated by all who never experienced the hell of living under communist regime. Although, it seems hard to believe, all of it happened, actually the reality was even worse than the movie. It resembles Orwellian fiction, only this is no fiction. John Hurt is excellent as always. Yes, the screenplay is not full of action, but life is not either. Plot is breathtaking. Yes, people were shot, yes thousands of them. Their 'crime' was that they wanted to leave communist 'paradise' without government authorization. At times the movie drives tears in your eyes. We need more movies like this to really appreciate what America provides for us. Excellent movie, highly recommend! God bless our country, USA!
