Big Trouble (2002)

Very funny....seriously underrated
4 August 2006
I saw this movie recently on Comedy Central. Very funny. Its about a man who once worked for the Miami (one of my favorite cities) Herald and loses his job, so he starts an advertising firm which is floundering as well as his home life. There are so many different characters in this movie with different things that need to be done, and they all run into each other at one point. There are two hit men who view their trip to Miami as the lowest point of their career. A big fat advertising guy who's a first class jerk. Two really dumb idiots who steal a nuclear bomb, a Jesus look-alike, two FBI agents. This movie is just plain crazy and some of the stuff in it will really make you laugh, definitely watch this if its on comedy central again or rent it.

Not that good
14 July 2006
I saw this movie recently on Comedy Central. I didn't think the movie was very good, and the plot seemed like it was written by 5 year olds with very dirty minds. So the movie starts with this white trailer trash family who lives in South Florida, Jaime Pressly works at a hotel but she's a nymphomaniac, the first guy she runs into when she's house keeping, sleeps with him. Then she goes onto sleep with her stepfather, and he gets her pregnant, then here mother gets back at Pressly by sleeping with Pressly's fiancé.

In this movie, Jerry Springer doesn't have a last name, he's just "Jerry" around his fans he seems like a good guy but behind their back he really doesn't like them (the movie lets you in on that) So Jaime Pressly (her movie name is Angel Zorzak) and her step dad and fiancé fly to LA to be on Jerrys show. She runs into a group of people who are supposed to be on the day after them, and sleeps with this other guy and her fiancé catches her. Her mother tries to do the same but fails, he and Connie just "hang out." The only part I thought was funny was when one of Jerrys staff members sleeps with the transvestite. Other then that this movie sucked

HILARIOUS!!!! Much better then the first 2
5 June 2006
This premiered on TV last night on Comedy Central. I missed the first 15 minutes of it because Chinese restaurants are so slow!!!!! But i taped the rest of it and I have to say it was truly hilarious. Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Ron White, and Larry the Cable Guy (whos from my home state of Florida)were all so much funnier then the first two, they'd been caught up in a vicious cycle of telling the same clichéd jokes they've been telling since the stone age. If you missed it DEFINITELY watch it, you will laugh until you vomit. Definitely tape it too, or go to Wal mart some time and pick it up. This is a must have. Like Larry would say "if you don't buy this video then you're a communist, GIT R DONE!!!!

Very Funny AND WITH ACTION!!!!
16 May 2006
This movie was very funny along with a lot of action. To me it was like the perfect movie. Funny and violent. Mel Gibson in the other movies basically has a death wish, he does in number 4 too, but to an extent. He usually spends time when he isn't beating up criminals trying to get a rise out of people. Now, my all time favorite scene in the movie is when they find the 1 billion yr old Chinese guy at the dentist and they interrogate him with laughing gas and they all start laughing. It gets funnier every time I see it. The fact that Chris Rock was in this movie made it even funnier, and Joe Pesci's character Leo Getz is always going to be funny. This is like the perfect movie.

Glad I'm Single

I'm only 16 but I usually don't watch MTV. But this time is different. Parents who are unsatisfied with their daughters boyfriend so they're going to pick two guys out of many hopefuls, they each take her on a date and the she has to decided to stay with her old boyfriend or go with one of the new guys. Their decisions are very mixed. Some stay and some go. The girls boyfriend is always a conceited jerk who treats her like complete poopy. (cant say the s word on this site, besides poopy sounds funny) I got a question. Why are all of MTV's shows done in California? They should do some in Florida or a cool place to be, There's more to life then California MTV!!!!! The girl is usually a dumb blonde who had a guy a beautiful blonde would never date. A lot of these girls are dating loser guys like me. The show is a bit unrealistic but still fun to watch. They should come to Connecticut in the summertime, it's really nice here, but ONLY in the summertime.

Freakin Sweet

This show even though seems like a rip off of the Simpsons, often times it does better. Seth Mac Farlane made the characters much dumber then the Simpsons or South Park to make it funnier. And I love the 80's pop culture references. Seth MacFarlane is a genius, and I don't just say that because he's from my home state of Connecticut. I give it a 9 instead of a 10 for several reasons. I'm normally not offended easily but sometimes the show goes too far. Like when they say Stewie played MArco Polo with Helen Keller, they show him swimming in the pool saying "Marco...Marco" I thought that was just terrible. Or the time when Peter's father says something to Brian who's not Christian. Brian said "Thats very Christian, believe what I say or i'll hurt you." then Grandpa Griffin hits Brian with a rolling pin over the head. I'm not the best or most devoted Christian in the world but I still found it offensive. Other then that...good show.

The Simpsons (1989– )

Gradually lost it's touch. But still very good.
13 May 2006
When the Simpsons first started in 1990 the show was totally awesome, sure the animation the voices and lots of stuff was somewhat different but the stories were creative and funny. That kept them going for about 10 seasons. After season 10 I think the show has gradually lost it's touch. Matt Groening himself even said as the show continues it get's even harder to come up with new original stories. The show isn't even as funny as it was in 1990. In 2006 it still has many funny moments but it feels like "so what" After saying that the Simpsons is still one of my all time favorite shows. But because it's lost its touch, I give it a 7.

That '70s Show (1998–2006)
A great show!
2 February 2005
This show is really great, when I first saw it a few years ago I thought it was the dumbest show that ever happened. But then it grew on me very quickly, Eric is my favorite character because he has the same outlook on life that I do. Hyde is also one of my favorite's he's got a nice laid back attitude and always has a funny comment, whether its mean or just weird. It's sad that this show is ending, just when I was starting to like it. Since I was born in the late 80's I never saw the seventies, but from my parents old photos That 70's Show is very accurate. This show keeps me laughing with every episode. Everyone I know watches it too. If I could rate this show on a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it an 11! :)
