Bullett Raja (2013)
You may go and watch it....
I would like to keep it short... Remove all the songs.Of course, not the one starring Mahi Gill. The movie could have been shorter. Seriously after interval I had no motivation to see the other half. It was quite predictable Raja Mishra would have his revenge in the second half and the movie shall end .But I did not quit and finally I was presented with a nice ending. A good thought has been given into the movie and has been seasoned with quite a masala. I would say on a Saturday when you are exhausted after working for last 5 days just go and watch the movie. The star cast has been chosen nicely and I totally appreciate the acting of Saif,Jimmy,Raj Babbar,Gulshan Grover....
Gravity (2013)
Stunning performance by Sandra Bullock
I like movies with emotions, heroes fighting hard to make things happen, the art of never letting it go at any cost. Yes this is one among them. Sandra Bullock(Ryan Stone) gives a stunning performance. This visual effects used are brilliant.
I was stuck at the moment when Sandra is left alone after the debris hits the space ship. That feeling of being in infinite space and alone;yes the heart sank and the ray of hope George Clooney(Matt Kowalski) finally manages to reach Ryan. I was stuck in my seat for the entire movie without even blinking my eyes. Yes its worth watching.
One of best sci-fi movies you will ever come across.Well I must see after the copy-cat "pacific rim" ,this is a great movie.
Pacific Rim (2013)
I need a sauce to digest this movie
I happen to watch this movie on an IMAX Screen. To start on a positive note: yes thumbs up for the 3d effects. The rise of hope and despair connects you to the movie. And this positivity ends here.
No real research has been done before making this movie. It felt as if a bunch of rich school kids decided to make a movie and while writing the plot they decided to keep Godzilla,Matrix ,transformers,Independence Day and a few other romantic movies as references.
The work seems unoriginal and ideas way too predictable and copied. The hero was supposed to die at the end. That could have earned a few more points for this movie.
The Lunchbox (2013)
Sometimes the wrong train may take you to the right destination...
The end of the movie is totally unexpected. You are left comfortably numb. You are left wondering how simple things can change people's lives.
The best part comes when both Sajjan(Irfan) and Ila(Nimrat) decide to meet. You already know the movie is of less than 2 hours and the intermission has passed. This easily triggers your imagination...what next?? The awesome direction of the movie connects you with the characters. To the end the things begin to part away but this is where masterstroke is hidden.Keeping the threads unanswered was the best way to stop. The viewers are left to themselves to decide what happens finally to them .Who knows whether it is Mumbai,Nasik or Bhutan(where you get 5 for ₹1).
