Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments: A Heart of Darkness (2018)
This show is exasperating
So Luke and Simon are off to find Lilith and Luke's partner. As they go up the elevator (why, I have no idea. They're given no indication which floor they're on) Lilith says they're staying, then immediately casts a spell to take them somewhere else. Next scene, Luke and Simon are back at Magnus's place. So much for getting Olivia.
I have no idea why Clary stayed behind when she portaled her friends to Magnus's place. To "buy time?" Time for what? And when did they get the soul sword back? Last we knew it was cast into a lake, and the only person who survived that didn't retrieve it.
I guess Izzy and Alec don't understand the meaning of "hurry." Then of course Lilith takes Jace back, which is what is needed for the story. That's the problem with this show. No effort is made to make sense, just get the characters where they need to be.

Do they even try?
Don't get me wrong. This show is absolutely terrible. From the platicy acting to the horribly written dialogue and plot holes galore, I'm amazed it even got past the pilot phase. This episode is no different.
Clary gets thrown off a roof, lands on a car, and is hurt so badly that she can't move. Meaning she most likely broke her back. Simon races over and in the VERY NEXT SCENE Clary is walking around as if nothing happened.
Why does this show even exist? For all of the beautiful D list actors to have something to do? The writers and actors definitely don't want to be here.
The Expanse: Nemesis Games (2021)
Killed the wrong character
Yes, I know Cas Anvar had misconduct allegations thrown at him. Why, I don't know nor do I care. I don't see anything online where he was found guilty. Alex was an integral part of the show, and it seems highly unlikely his character would stroke out. They had already pulled out of the burn, had a conversation, rescued Naomi floating in space, and then he's suddenly dead.
Naomi should've died. I rooted against her this entire season as she made dumb decision after dumb decision. She is annoying, fickle, and doesn't care who she hurts. It seems incredibly unlikely that Inaros or his crew didn't notice Naomi floating a few feet into the ship next door. She should definitely be dead.
It's a shame how little screen time Bobby got. Honestly the only saving grace of this season was Amos and Peaches. I loved their storyline.
