I love historical K dramas. I was hesitant to watch it because I like series with happy ending, sue me. I love the way it started with the privilege-ness of the crown prince. Then, he was taken down more than a couple of pegs. What I loved is that this series left me anxious each episode to find out what would happen next. I want to say I inhaled this series because I could not wait to see what was going to happen next. It felt like a game of chess. I love the king and what I think he is going to become. The only thing is he shouldn't sleep with the Royal concubine, she is not worth the hassle.

I honestly don't understand why people don't like this series. The low score on IMDb is totally unwarranted. This was a good series. Yes there were parts of it where the writing could've been better but overall it's good. I'm not sure if they're hating on it because of the male protagonist. But I like him. I've seen him in other series and he's good. Yes he chooses roles sometimes where he's acting the fool and joking around but overall, he's a good actor. His new serious Marry my husband shows him in a much different light, so hopefully people won't hate on that serious also. It has to be because of him because the series was so good and yet people hate it and it's score on IMDb is pitiful.

Watch it for yourself because the haters are hating on it and it's ridiculous.

I really liked the concept and the movie weaves so much of what makes you squirm. But oh goodness, why could I not like the male protagonist? He was a scaredy lazy cat who was often so oblivious he made me yell more than I should have and not in a good way. Most times I just wanted to shake him. I also kept waiting for a disclaimer or note or the young actress. I hope she is older than she looks because her acting was scary and had a lot of swearing (translated). Some of her scenes were truly disturbing. She will need counselling.

So o like the movie but the low score was because the male protagonist annoyed me.

I really, really love Jun Ho in The Red Sleeve and so was anticipating great things for this series. But, sad to say, it fell short. The positives are that everyone looks great with their perfect lighting, makeup and clothing and my favourite elder actress was also in it. Plus, the kisses are, well, great.

BUT, it fell so short in content, depth and was boring. After the first four episodes I tuned out, deciding to come back when all the episodes were available because it was just not engaging me. Now I am on episode 10 and struggling to get to episode 16. I have even found myself fast forwarding through the scenes. Oteke? I will get to episode 16 to see if it redeems itself and can give it a higher score.

I just finished and am contemplating watching again (just incase I missed anything).

The storyline was great with enough interest, intrigue and misdirection to keep you engaged. I am a sucker for sci-fi. Plus the fight scenes were great. It was a different flavour of Beyond Evil. The male lead character was played flawlessly by Min Nam-Koong. His sense of justice and protectiveness is reminiscent of Optimus Prime. The rest of the cast was great too, in particular Kim Won-Hae. He is always great in every series I have seen him in.

The pre-ending and the song, brilliant. The perfect ending to an amazing hero. The epilogue was ok too.

I want another season.

I gave it a 6/10 because honestly the action scenes were absolutely amazing but everything else fell flat From the trailer and from everything that was on social media I thought this was going to be like Vagabond. I was disappointed. I wanted to be captivated and pulled in by the story and then have the action be the whip cream and the cherry on top but there was nothing. That being said watch it for the action scenes know that there's not much else. If you want to see a really good action one watch Vagabond.

I loved every morsel of this series. It was similar imho to Vincenzo or the other way around. Whereas Vincenzo was smooth Lawless Lawyer was rough and gritty and possibly more actioned pack. I stayed up very late so that I could finish because while I enjoy leftovers I wanted to consume it in one sitting.

I thoroughly loved and enjoyed this series. It's amazing and better than Something In The Rain. I had to look past the cultural stigma associated with being a single dad but once I did that this series had my heart. Watch it and you will love it and come away better for it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. It had me screaming and trying to figure out all the twist and turns of who did it. Then, they impressed me by letting me know and showed me how it all comes together. Brilliant!

Really enjoyed this series but I'm disappointed in the ending hence the 8. I need a movie or another season to see the concussion to the buildup.

When I started watching I was slightly bored. My initial thoughts were oh my goodness what have I gotten myself into. But then the storyline picked up and it got more and more and more interesting. By the middle episodes I was hooked. Towards the end I was breathless with anticipation. I was on the edge of my seat being entertained and loving it 😊.

I was reminded of Sisyphus: The Myth in some spots.

However the person who wrote this has made me believe that for people who are mentally and emotionally depressed, this might be what they go through. I am left with something in the pit of my stomach that feels like uncertainty and sadness for the main characters. I think the writer hit the nail on the head if he wanted to highlight mental issues. The acting and directing was also well done.

Pied Piper meets The Dome meets Between and not very well done.
