Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987)
Shows an amazing idea of what the future can be.
Even though "Encounter at Farpoint" was boring, I'm glad I sat through it and then watched "The Naked Now" right after. After seeing that episode, I found it super interesting and funny that I had to continue watching the series! The more of the series I watched, the more I got to know the characters like they're my friends!
What makes me enjoy the series are the characters, the technology that the series shows, and the interesting episode content. I just don't really have a favourite character of the series because they're all pretty cool! Picard makes a great idea of the leader, and I admire him in the fact that he's got no wife and no kids (I don't want kids either); Riker makes a great and funny young first officer, who also is too sexually attracted to female extraterrestrials; Data is an android who seeks being more human, and really ends up being hilarious; Troi is a great counsellor with her telepathic abilities; Worf is a pretty funny tactical officer who thinks the best way to deal with their problems is by destroying the enemy's ships; La Forge is a pretty excellent ship engineer; and Beverly Crusher makes a great image of a medical officer, who also sometimes has an attraction to Captain Picard and vice versa.
I also love seeing all the technology that the series shows, like how the ships work, how Starfleet works, what the Holodecks are and what they do, and many other cool gadgets!
Not to mention, the episodes usually are almost always interesting and awesome! The only ones I find boring are "Encounter at Farpaint" and "Darmok".
I'd rate this series a 10/10, but I object to one recurring motif in the show: how much it thinks about the value of having kids. This is just a me thing because I don't want to have kids and I'm sick of how people treat their kids like bowling trophies. For example, in the episode "The Inner Light", even though it got to show how Picard would've lived a life where he's a father and not a captain, I thought it was okay, but not the best, which certainly makes me object to how the viewers rate that the best episode of the entire series just because it showed what it meant to have kids and what Picard was "missing out on".
Nevertheless, this is one of my favourite series ever and even though is still not as exciting as "Malcolm in the Middle", I think this is the best sci-fi series ever! This series, is Paul Stompbox revered!
Star Trek: The Next Generation: Disaster (1991)
Probably the greatest episode of all series ever made!
I shagging love this episode! It's super exciting and awesome! The best part about it is how so many things are going on at the same time and what situation each of my favourite characters are in! There's Captain Picard who's stuck in a Turbolift with three kids, who Picard is not known for being very well with kids and I love elevators so this make this really awesome! There's also the bridge with Ensign Ro, Counsellor Troi, and Chief O'Brien; there's the cargo bay with Commander La Forge and Dr. Crusher, whom are not really associated with each other, mostly Crusher and Picard, but still, something different! Finally, there's in 10 forward, Keiko O'Brien who's on labour and just about to give birth to her daughter. Who's there to help her? Not her husband, not a medical officer, but Worf, the chief security officer and is also a Klingon, not a human! That's what makes this episode so awesome! That the characters are in situations where they're not really meant to be there!
This episode is still insanely exciting, but the end scene of where after Picard and his child "crew" leaving the elevator shaft to the nearest open floor, when Marissa, Picard's "first officer", gave him a hug, that hit me in the feels.
This title is the greatest episode of the series and off all ever made! This is most certainly Paul Stompbox revered!
Malcolm in the Middle: Blackout (2005)
The greatest episode of the series and the most exciting and funny episode of any series ever!
The absolute best part of the episode, is well, how much stuff actually goes on at once and that the camera swaps which part of the house the things go on in. I especially liked the subplots: Francis wants to steal a fish from Hal's shed, Malcolm wants to get his parents out of the house to throw a party with some Dutch girls, Reese is assisting Malcolm even though Hal wants him to cook Kobe beef, tricking him that he and Hal will have them but actually Lois and Hal will have them because its their anniversary. I really liked how they make it so that tricking and lying is the way to go!
The absolute best part of the episode is the ending! I really found funny how when Reese was cooking the Kobe beef, he added sleeping drugs into the sauce for no apparent reason! That's what makes me laugh! It's not like the dope will improve the taste or make them go on a trippy experience after the meal! I also really admired how Dewey didn't have any of the beef because just after the dope has tranquillized the rest of his nuclear family, he was able to finally have cereal for dinner, and with the Dutch chicks that Malcolm invited!
This is, in my opinion, the 2nd or 1st greatest episode of all television or web series ever made! This title, is DEFINITELY Paul Stompbox revered!
VeggieTales: Are You My Neighbor? (1995)
The best Veggietales episode ever!
I love watching the original 90's episodes of Veggietales, and this episode is the real cream of the crop. The stories are awesome to watch, they of course have awesome meanings, and the musicals this time are amazing. Especially the busy song and "I Can Be Your Friend" is i.m.o. the greatest musical in any TV show episode/movie.
So the characters of course are fun to watch and see embark on journeys like this, the music as I said earlier is bombastic, and the graphics are really awesome to watch, though some can argue its dated graphics, I love seeing that "dated" awesomeness from the 90's.
I highly recommend it to any age or anybody!
The Wonderful World of Disney: Home Alone 4: Taking Back the House (2002)
Horendous!
What can I say about this film? It sucks cock! If it were like Home Alone 3 or 5 with a different kid and different family, that would've upped it by one star, but here they claim to have the characters from the 1st and 2nd films! That's no problem but the big problem is that all of them have different actors and none of them look the same! Only Kevin's father LOOKS the same, but doesn't SOUND the same. Another bad part is also that Kevin's mom lives in a different household than in the 1st and 2nd. It's also confusing how this film even fits into the Home Alone timeline. So if this film is considered a sequel to the 2nd film, which takes place in 1990 or 1991 and Kevin is 10 years old, this film Kevin is 9 years old and there are so many objects not belonging to a time like 1992. Kevin's acting is very ridiculous too. Whenever I watch this, I keep forgetting that I'm watching a Home Alone movie. When I picture a clip from the first two films with Macaulay Kulkin as Kevin, then this film feels even worse to watch. And Finally, the idea of Kevin's father dating a rich girlfriend and the wet bandits only being Marv and his wife, and giving Marv Harry's clothes, this film must be a nightmare, as Robert Englund says.
The visuals in this film aren't very appealing and the music is pretty bad, though sometimes it uses what I like to call "Bad movie music" which I actually get amused by.
But make the right choice! Do not watch this!
Home Alone 3 (1997)
Amazing!
I love this film and I thought it was the best winter-themed film ever made when I just finished it. Though I really pity that most people despise this film. I can possibly see why. Because it claims to be a Home Alone film, and Kevin McCallister isn't even cameo-ed in this film. I understand that, but that shouldn't affect the rating that much. If it had a different title, I predict the ratings would go to more of a 6.5 stars average.
So about the film, I love it! I recommend it head-on. The music pumps you up, the visuals are a little too white, but you can get used to that, the plot is odd, but its really fun to see it go, the bad guys are very dopey and funny to laugh at, they're supposed to be terrorists instead of just a couple of bandits like from the original Home Alones, the scenes with the parrot are entertaining because the parrot always has quotes to say, and the traps in this film are very violent like in Home Alone 2, but they're very funny traps yet they are extremely precise.
Get off your chair and watch it!
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989)
One of the most fun films ever made
This film has lots of content to offer to everyone. The entire time I was watching, I kept on feeling the excitement that's inside me while watching. A film about two boys who fail school that get a time machine sounds pretty unique, but when you watch it, you get to see how fun it is. The script is well done, the action scenes are put together well, and the music is well done! One of my favorite parts in the film were the different scenes that go on at once. After Bill and Ted left Austria, accidentally taking Napoleon Bonaparte with them, Ted asks his younger brother to watch him. So we see Bill & Ted going back into time capturing historical figures, while Napoleon is exploring the world of San Dimas in the 1980's. Not to mention, the CGI in this film is bombtastic for its time.
It's a most triumphant movie, Dude!
Balto (1995)
An amazing experience, though it was missing stuff.
This film is a real heart-warmer when I first watched it to this day. I was lured to it because I'm a dog lover, and I needed to see what this is all about. After I finished it, I felt like a hundred bucks! The film drove my body to the world of awesomeness!
So first of all, I recommend this film because it has characters to have fun with, I usually like the canine characters the best, the voice acting is okay, though sometimes the voice actors sound like they have saliva in their mouths, the music is not bad, and so is the animation work. I also like seeing this because we see the frustrations our protagonist, Balto, has to go through for only being half-wolf, and this reminds all of us how much our lives can be much worse :D. The few problems in this film is the lack of content. The film is only 1 hour and ten minutes, but it feels shorter, The plot is explained, but a little bit too early and during the film you can easily guess the ending.
But overall, If you do want to watch this, grab all your family, eat your potato chips, then when the movie is over, mute the TV, and play on speakers "The Killers - Spaceman" then you will feel how I feel. :)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized (2009)
A well done spin off for the DS system
It may not be the best or the worst game but its definitely something. I enjoyed it very much as it came out when I was Ten. The game was not even close to being too violent for my age, and it was some good sequel to the DS adaptation for Call of Duty: World at War. I highly recommend this game if you've never played it for its pretty mediocre but fun story, about going around places and chasing a nuke. You get two different factions to play as, the British and the Americans. Playing both is fun, though the British soldiers sound pretty bland, in comparison to real British people :3. It may not go too far in quality because in big scenes or fights the game lags, due to the engine's configurations. The game contains real gun names, though sometimes awkward looks/sounds, and somewhat eccentric reload styles. The graphics in game is not bad, but its definitely not the best for the Nintendo DS system. The game's soundtrack is really good, and can easily pump you up the longer you stay in.
Give it a try!
