Late to show... but uit made the movie better than some thwese reviews did.
11 July 2023
I think ones opinion or review of this movie may be based on the lapse between when the series ended to when the movie was made. I didn't watch the series when it was released, I just finished it yesterday, watched the entire sereis over the weekend and ended with the movie. While it didn't give me closure due to HUGE cliff hanger at the end. I did however feel like the series hadn't quite ended when it did but did continue with the movie and left me with a cliff hanger like all series did at the end of a season. I found the movie to be pretty good, not quite as edgy as the series was. The series was edgier, gritier than this. If they decide to do a second movie, and I hope Netflix does, but they need to go back to that format. This is what made Luther. The movie was more of a horror movie. I found it be predictable in some parts. I love LOVE LOVE Britsh crime seies. They are more phycological than physical. The Brits know how to keep you on the edge of your seat. I liked Cynthia Erivo in the Outsider. But not so much in this. They needed to make her charactor stronger, not so funerable. I gave this review an 8 because it did lack that edginess that was fully present in every episode of the Luther series. The story was good, could have been better. But I still liked it.

SEASON 2 Please!!
10 July 2022
This was the best series so far this year!! Loved it. Huge fan of Chris Pratt. There isn't anything he's done that I have not liked. Loved getting to see him in a more serious role. The way I see it, he fits any role and looks great in it!! I want another season!!

Why the Hate for this movie, I don't get it
10 June 2022
I have seen this movie about 30 times since its release in 2017. Immediately after the first time I saw it, was hoping for a 2nd! It is obviously doing well in the rental market because its not like other movies that have ended up in the classic film section of Prime or Netflix (Canada) I understand it it may be on Netflix US. But up here we have to rent it to watch it. I found the movie entertaining right from the beginning and the momentum didn't stop till the end. I've seen the reasons why this movie flopped from the critics and find their reasons invalid. C'mon Mothers Day?? No woman in it ?? It sounded to me like they were just looking for reasons to slash this film. It's to bad that most people go by what critics have to say. Instead just going by the actors ability to carry the movie themselves. I really enjoyed the humor that Guy Richie and Charlie Hunnam pulled off in this version of King Arthur. Not to mention the appearances of some Game of Thrones cast in the mix. Like Bedivere, one of the most hated character's from GOT. This was a story of good vs evil, but through the entire movie, it never let you forget where it started. I liked that because it kept the story line relevant from start to finish. I would love to see a 2nd King Arthur. If I were guy Richie or WB, I would be reading the reviews of the people here that really enjoyed this movie and taking their opinion into account. Isn't that the whole idea of making movies, they're for the people, not the critics.

V-Wars (2019)

Its a great series!
9 September 2020
I really enjoyed this series. Ian Somerhalder did a fantastic job with this series. Loved the vampires. It was a whole new look for them which gave the series some authenticity. I was looking forward to a S02 but... I watched this series one ep after another, great way to kill off a Saturday. I would like to see another network pick this up like Showtime of FX, maybe another streaming service. After watching Ian in the Vampire Diaries for 8 years, it took a bit of an adjustment to see him playing on the other side of the playground. So it took minute to grasp that he wasn't Damien on the screen and he was a new character for me to learn to accept and like, and I did. I never thought while watching the series that it would get cancelled. I would have also liked to see more Laura Vanderhoof . She was in Bitten. And Bitten was a low budget series. If you want something to compare VWars to, Bitten would be a good one, it would be like comparing apples to orange. Mind you it was good series and it had a story line. All the actors in it were Canadian. I don't feel that V Wars was low budget, I can't even image the what the make up and CGI budget was for this series. It was a hgood series and pissed that its gone!!

All I will say is, if this gets a season 5, Rob Thomas needs to make the first episode Veronica waking up from a real bad dream. As Logan has said "Our love is epic" he is a part of her. My heart is broken. This is crazy..WHY ????

8/10 for Wes Brown...not the movie
2 December 2018
The only good thing about this movie was Wes Brown, you can't go wrong putting him any movie. I've seen him in just everything he's done. Loved Christmas in Mississippi, loved Christmas Cookies...even Deception. Wes should have been paired with an actress the equaled his talent, that would have made one heck of a great movie.

I can't get enough, one of the best crime series!!
21 September 2018
I just binge watched 4 seasons of this series and CAN'T wait for season 5. I am really beginning to love British television. I can't get enough of their series are crime, fantasy or drama. The writers of this show are incredible at the way they can create a great story line as like this one. Each episode is a different story but their is a back story that each episode is connected to.The writers have you glued to the screen, I just wish it was more than 6 episodes, maybe 8 but not so many that you get bored of it. It is a fast paced and suspenseful series. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!! Koodo's to the writers, directors and actors, this is n AWESOME series, don't stop!!
