A great message for kids. Content wasn't intended to hold an adult's attention
14 August 2005
I watched this series when it originally came out. I think this show contained a lot of great messages for children, and they were able to present them in a way that was visually stimulating for the children and could hold their attention. I frown on adults who are too hard on the delivery style of this series. Kudos to network executives, like Ted Turner, who take a chance on a show like this. There were lessons on subjects such as smoking, drugs, stealing, lying, and obviously not polluting the environment. It obviously wasn't looked down on by everyone. It ran for more than a couple of seasons, which speaks volumes for a show. There were a lot of great actors whose voices turned up on this show. I miss watching it, and I'd love for my six-year-old daughter to be able to experience it. She'd love it!

Woah. I didn't see that one coming

Warning: Spoilers
This movie wasn't the worst I've ever seen. But I certainly don't want to pass out copies for Christmas, either. Please forgive me if I'm stepping on anyone's toes, but I think this movie was terrible.

The part that gets me the most is the bathroom scene where he comes in naked. I mean, come on, aren't we in violation of some hefty laws here? Would you just sit there if this obsessed boy came in naked while you were taking a bath? I have tried repeatedly to put this into context, but I can find no acceptable context to put it into!

Was Nicole Kidman paying attention when she signed the contracts? Had she read the script? I'm quite surprised to see someone of her acting magnitude take a part like this one.

This was not a bad movie!

Come on, people. This movie wasn't that bad. You must remember that it was a COMIC BOOK movie. This movie used some advanced techniques that it was unable to seamlessly blend in, but overall I say it was a good movie. I certainly wouldn't give it an Oscar, but I don't think it was bad. I think that cinematic ally speaking it could have used some more time in editing. I think that's the worst you could say about the movie is that it was done in a hurry. Overall Halle Berry did a great job. The only place that they lost me was in the "bad" catwoman scenes. They looked too CGI. They didn't blend in with the rest of the movie. I think (and I'm a webmaster major in college) that if you are going to add those special effects, you must make sure that they blend in.
