Magic of Disney's Animal Kingdom (2020)
Love this show
This is the first show in a long time I haven't check my phone the entire time. I admit I am a Disney person but I don't love going to Animal Kingdom. This show brings a whole new view to the park that I never imagined and I can't wait to go back on my next trip. I cannot believe the lengths these people go through to give these animals the best lives possible. I also don't watch Animal Planet so I don't have anything to compare the pace of this show to except for IMAX films, so it's perfect for me. I highly recommend this for people of all ages. I hope we get more more seasons of this show soon.
The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022)
The perfect summer show
The perfect show to watch again and again in the summer. No it doesn't follow the books exactly but it's fun, the love story is sweet, and the cast and social media along with it is fun. Not everything has to win awards.
The Staircase (2022)
Just finished episode 4 really hoped it was the end.
Just struggled through episode 4 and hbo didn't ask me if I wanted to watch the next episode so I thought the series was over. I was kind of relieved since nothing was happened in it. The documentaries about the subject are done better then an HBO show that's not a good sign. I'm sure tomorrow I'll pick it back up to finish but if I didn't come on here to rate it I would have never known I had more episodes to watch.
Nisser (2021)
Fun dark Christmas show
This was a fun dark Christmas show but none of the main family had any redeeming qualities. I'm hoping some of the subtitles were bad because it made their characters even worse.
Christmas Flow (2021)
A bit ridiculous but fun
This was a bit ridiculous but a fun Thanksgiving day binge watch. They spoke so quickly it was hard to read the English subtitles the first episode but then I got used to it.
The Nevers (2021)
Typical high class Joss Whedon Show
The first 6 episodes had great dialogue, original story, bad*ss women characters, basically everything a typical Whedon show has just on a bigger (HBO) scale. I am super worried with someone new taking the helm the feeling of the show will change.
The Woman in the Window (2021)
Please just read the book
This book is so good. It didn't translate into a movie.
The Last Cruise (2021)
Truly horrifying
I felt sick the entire time watching this. I can't imagine the fear these people had and the will to keep going every day. It could have been longer and finished the stories of the people who were taken off the ship to the hospital, and the ones who were stuck on the ship longer.
Spontaneous (2020)
Watchable but disappointing
I was contemplating paying to watch this in theaters, so I'm glad it ended up on Prime for free. The first 20 minutes had a cool "Warm Bodies" vibe to me where I thought we were getting a cute rom-com amid an end of world scenario. It lost its way towards the middle of the movie and I really didn't like the ending. Honestly the political jabs bothered me only because I turned the news off and wanted to avoid the real world for 2 hours.
If you are looking for a mindless movie to watch go for it. It was kind of fun.
Them (2021)
Should have been 6 episodes
If this show was only 6 episodes I would have given it a much higher rating. It started off strong, creepy, and well done overall. The 7th episode through the end lost me. I recommend watching it knowing that most of it is well worth. I live in New England so it was interesting to look up the history of Compton after watching the show as well.
The One (2021)
Somehow I finished it.
This was a rough watch. The concept was cool but the storyline was all over the place. Just like the show "Soulmates" they show that finding the one isn't as easy as it seems. But then they added all of this other murder drama into it and it overtook the cool concept.
A Discovery of Witches (2018)
Never as good as the books
They tried! The first season was really good and close to the books. The second season just didn't work as well and the acting didn't seem as good all around. Still enjoyable if you are into shows like this.
Zero Chill (2021)
Good for kids...
They should have done more research before trying to do a figure skating show. But I'm sure kids and young teens will like it. As a skater it just makes the fact that Spinning Out (a show that for once actually did a decent job representing the sport) was cancelled even more frustrating.

Dark Places, Deadly Illusions (2021)
I gave up and came on here to read the funny reviews instead
Don't watch this. The acting is terrible, the script is terrible, the editing is beyond terrible. Sorry, I feel bad I've never given anything such a bad review. I made it 20 minutes in and had to turn it off.
Greenland (2020)
We need a part 2!
Honestly I love movies like this so I probably rated it higher then it deserved. Yes it was ridiculous and I cried 5 times, but I forgot about the outside world for 2 hours and that was worth it for me. I feel like a second movie would be a really interesting story!
I Care a Lot (2020)
Mid week movie
If you are looking for a movie to watch mid week because you are bored this is for you. Great actors, semi interesting storyline, but it just goes off track somehow. I'm not sure if it's the cruel subject or the ridiculous getaways that start to make it unwatchable about halfway through.
Homeless: The Motel Kids of Orange County (2010)
Watch "The Florida Project"
Not the best documentary, it's such a sad subject as are all of the documentaries involving California. I recommend watching "The Florida Project" which is a movie starring Willem Dafoe based on the same subject but in Florida.
Tell Me Your Secrets (2021)
Not for me
I usually enjoy shows like this. Tell Me Your Secrets just makes me feel dirty and uncomfortable so it must be good (doing it's job) but not enjoyable.
Tell Me Your Secrets: I Got Here by Myself (2021)
Do not put Gum chewing in TV
Do not put someone chewing gum like a cow in a tv show. People with misophonia won't be able to watch it.
Superstore: California Part 2 (2020)
Thank goodness she's gone
Amy was a terrible character. She was so self centered and really awful to Jonah through the whole series. The show hasn't really been good since season 2 so hopefully her leaving shakes things up.
Superstore: Essential (2020)
Ummmm where are their masks?
Ok so I know this is dumb but it was super distracting that the extras weren't wearing masks. I really like how 9-1-1 is handling their episodes since Covid has come out. This show hasn't been funny in a few seasons but they didn't even try this episode.
The Twilight Zone: Downtime (2020)
Best episode so far
After a terrible first season, this season seems much better so far. This episode seemed a bit like a Black Mirror theme but that's fine it was still leaps and bounds above anything they did in the first season.
The Twilight Zone: Meet in the Middle (2020)
Way better then anything in season 1
This episode was way above anything in season 1. Hopefully they continue this way.
The Twilight Zone: Point of Origin (2019)
Are they getting worse?
Yiiiikes! Not only are the episodes way too long, but the story lines are incredibly boring. This is extremely disappointing.
