Survivor (2000– )
fantastic season!!
8 January 2006
Survivor has always been my favorite reality TV show, and Guatemala (season 11) continues that tradition perfectly. Every location is different and has its specialties, you just can't say those 18 outcasts are just doing the same things as the other survivors did in the previous 10 seasons!! Plenty of physical challenges...the initial challenge was 11 miles through the jungle, that's nothing like ever before. Plenty of mazes, physical challenges, races, endurance, and mind busters are all included in this amazing 39 day experience for those 18 lucky people, especially for bobby Jon & Steph, who appeared in survivor palau. Being the toughest season ever, its needless to say that outlasting, outwitting, and outplaying 17 others is ridiculously hard. There are some nice, bold survivors, like Judd, as well as some rather lucky ones, like Lydia, and also some who made some obviously false choices (cindy and the car).

All in all, great cast, great historical, unforgiving setting, great challenges, and great strategy. Real congratulations to Danni, sole survivor, and a strong, great lookin girl.. Congrats to all the others as well!! This is the best survivor season ever, it just doesn't seem to lose its touch. Can't wait for panama in spring 06'!!!

brilliant family movie and comedy

probably the best family movie ever.

Robin Williams played an excellent Mrs Doubtfire and Daniel Hillard, especially at the bridges restaurant. It is both sad and touching at times. Can be plenty funny when 'she' burns herself and when the kids find out.

Though their father Daniel is never serious, i think there are precious few fathers in this world who love their kids more than he does. The film is set in San Francisco (an awesome place)and all the characters played their roles well.

The 'little speech' Mrs Doubtfire gave at the end should be a lesson to all families. I've watched this movie dozens of times and i have never gotten tired of it.

top notch family film

Twister (I) (1996)

twisters are really that dangerous. enjoyable

i really enjoyed this film a lot.

i was impressed by the great sounds and special effects. The plot was clear simple and to the point. i think that Helen Hunt and bill Paxton make a great Jo and bill. Dorothy was a smart idea and deserved to finally fly. there is sufficient action in it for all of you action lovers. Cary Elwes as Jonas was a slightly unnecessary but acceptable character.

There are some scenes which are shot beautifully against magnificent sceneries. I've never been to Oklahoma and this film makes me want to go. (the town Wakita actually exists its 100 miles NNW of Oklahoma city) overall excellent film with good music soundtracks.

not my 1st choice

the movies plot is a bit hard to follow - i think the script is mediocre and too brief. there are some rather ridiculous parts: Jian knows that the bike is Guo's but keeps stealing it?! plenty of swearing mind you, and though the ending is a bit touching, it happens too suddenly. This movie can be funny and ridiculous at times and will make you laugh (because the characters are a bit dumb, really).

The girl they consider 'hot' isn't so, in fact shes just a maid dressed up in her mistresses so called posh clothes. Shes just doing this to save face.

Anyway, it was OK overall but not my cup of tea. For Sure.
