One Piece (1999– )
best anime ever
14 May 2005
This anime is so cool. It's probably the best anime I've ever watched so far. The main character Luffy in this anime has taught me a meaningful lesson in life. He taught me that if you decide to accomplish something, you should put everything on it and fight for your goal till the last moment of your life. This anime is awesome, hilarious, and touching. It brings me a lot of laughing from the funny parts, and tears from the touching moments (yes, I really did shatter my tears). It's really an awesome anime, I've been watching from episode 1 - 144 so far, and I never found even a second of the anime boring. I highly recommend every one to watch this excellence anime.

too much crying and doesn't make sense
12 March 2005
Warning: Spoilers
I watched the movie version for this drama, and I can't believe that I laughed when I watched it. I notice that lots of people who watched the movie all saying how touching the movie is, and how badly they cried when they watched it. If they knew that I actually laugh when I watch it, they would probably think that I am crazy. But sorry, I did laugh, because I just didn't buy the story: A brother and sister fell in love with each other huh?? I don't see how this is supposed to be romantic. Even though they aren't real brother and sister relationship, but it still sounds freaky and not making much sense. Well, I have to say that this is a pretty up-to-date Romeo and Juliet tragedy. However, the director of this movie didn't apply Shakespeare's idea successfully into the movie itself. The entire movie has way too much tear shattering craps. For example, the main character Jun-seo is in love with his "sister" but he can't spend time with her together because his girlfriend needs him and will commit suicide if he left her, when Jun-seo finally meets his "sister", both of them are crying and hugging, and Jun-seo says to his "sister" that he's sorry and that he loves her forever, blah blah…. And scenes like this repeats over and over again, and they were literally too much that just a little bit more of it would make the movie very boring. And yeah, the characters in the movie cry too much, too. They almost cry through out the entire movie, and some time I would wonder what the hell they are crying for… I am thinking of one perfect word to describe the movie – schmaltzy. This movie is not that bad over all. For those who really enjoy watching this movie and for those who are tying to watch it, I would rather recommend "Crying out love, in the center of the world" by Isao Yjkisada.
