Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
disappointed
The Night King was useless . The whitewalkers useless. Pretty much everyone was useless except Ser Jorah , Dondarrion , Arya, Melisandre and Theon. I get that they were going for a horrifying episode but I want to see the main characters fight it out using their traits. Lighting was so bad. Need more Ghost screentime. Pretty much have been a disappointing season with few moment of brilliance like the Brienne knighting scene and baby mormont and Jorah death scene Theon final redemption Dondarrion Christ moment has been brilliant. But everything else has been so dreadful. To top it off night king arya moment was the biggest disappointment. Stupid stare contest between useless Bran and night king and then all of a sudden arya jumps out evading all the stupid whitewalkers. It was stupid. I get that they were going for
a surprise and I'm thrilled that arya is the one who offs the night king but not that way. At least have Jon fight out the whitewalker bodyguards and get badly injured and when all hopes lost maybe introduce that sneak attack. All in all it has been bad. I will not say very bad but it has been pretty bad
Altered Carbon (2018)
one of the worst writing
Please don't renew this series for a 2nd season. It's so Bad! wasted my time.
Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
Brilliant
Mad Max Fury Road delivers. For an action genre , It seems it is hard to plot a strong thrilling story line as it is seen with many movies that belong to this genre. Most of them are just stupid and all about action. But Mad Max Fury Road is Wild , Insane, Action packed yet the Story line is interesting and gripping. It gives a much needed revival to the action genre which had been sidelined to only expensive budget special effect movies like Transformers ,Fast and Furious, well R.I.P. Paul Walker, but even though I like the F&F franchise, the story line is well, not strong. The action sequence of Fury Road resembles a lot like Death race, but well it suits better in a post apocalyptic struggle of War Lords rather than in a locked up prison race betting business. Tom Hardy seems to own every action sequence he does. The movie is epic, mind blowing and lastly very refreshing for the action genre.
Game of Thrones: The Dance of Dragons (2015)
Just a bad decision to kill off a beloved character
Well, i'm used to getting my favorite characters get stomped of unexpectedly but in The Dance of the Dragons, I was disgusted at what Stannis did to her daughter. Believe me, I wasn't disgusted when Lord Eddard Stark got his head cut off in Baelor or what happened at The Red Wedding and even the infamous rape of Sansa Stark. But what Melissendre and Stannis did to his daughter can't be forgiven. It's just bad storytelling!! I mean the way he warms to her daughter before sacrificing her publicly, it all disregards what he said to her daughter about saving her in her childhood from being sent to Valyria for having Greyscale. I am always prepared to expect the unexpected but as a fan and critique I was expecting more of Jon Snow and Danaerys in this episode and less of What's been happening around Winterfell. I was expecting Stannis to get killed by Ramsay in the last episode of the season. That would have been a better storytelling.
Well, the Dragons part isn't flawed. I expected more of Castle Black on Jon Snow's return. It is clear from here now that Stannis has sacrificed his only living heir, the Lord of Light may grant what he want, Winterfell. But I'm disappointed with that story. That Story would mean Ramsay Bolton get his much awaited death on the fans' side. I would rather have let Stannis get killed off and Ramsay stayed for Sansa or his half brother Lord Snow to finish that job. And also the Arya part was too lengthy. She didn't finish her assignment nor did she kill Meryn Trent, maybe next episode.
