Alien Dawn (2013– )

Awesome!!!

Finally a kids show I can get excited about. This is the first live action series in decades that got my attention. I just hope the rest of the season is as good as the pilot. If it is, this show is going to be a classic. I loved the characters and the fact that it was shot in New York. I love that it's not dumbed down to children. Kids are a lot smarter than the industry gives them credit for! I would have killed to have a cool show like this when I was a kid. I watched it at a friends house and he has an eleven year old son. He recorded it and watched it again the next day. He got super excited about the little clues that seem to be in it. I know he's going to watch it next week to see if the clues pan out. If they do, this show is going to be like the next Star Trek. On a side note, I can't understand why anyone would give this show one star. That's just crazy. They must of thought they were voting on the movie from a which is completely different thing.

The Level (2008 Video)

I made this film.
16 August 2010
First of all let me thank everyone who has said good things about this movie (on this site and others). My brother and I made this movie on a shoestring budget so that we could do what we wanted. We shot it on short ends and cut the negative in my bedroom with nothing but take-up reels and a frame counter.

I know this film is not for everyone but we're really proud of it. The US distribution deal went into limbo and it seems most people are seeing the pirated version through bit-torrent sites. Whatever. Believe it or not, we made this film because we wanted people to watch it. It has been amazing that it has been seen by people all over the world. That's what it's all about anyway.

Some of the criticism is justified. No film is perfect (especially The Level). But for those who have complained about the low-budget feel or the level of violence I would just like to say, "kiss my ass!" Low budget means someone sweated blood to make it and if you were offended by the violence, then you were not the intended audience.

Again, thank you for all the support. The response we've gotten from around the world has been amazing. It's the life-blood of independent film.

Sexy, mysterious thriller.

I saw this movie at a festival in Monteal and I can't wait till it comes out. It was by far the best film I've seen at a festival in a long time. Jon Ashmore had me on the edge of my seat with this spooky, erotic thriller. Cool cinematography, good acting and the lead actress is smokin'! It started out kind of slow, so I wasn't sure where it was going but once the plot turned, it got disturbing quick. I wish there were more movies that took the chances this one took. In its own quiet way it explores marital desperation in a way that can only be described as true. My only complaint is with its "Hollywood" action adventure scenes towards the end. They seemed a little out of place in such a thoughtful and thought provoking movie.
