Maniac (2018)

It is deeper than I first thought
13 March 2023
The first time I watch it I didn't get the whole point, maybe I wasn't paying attention. It was 2018. I gave it a second chance in 2023 and I guess I was wise enough. It touched some fiber deep down my soul. The story is about broken people and how they overcome the riddle of their minds and traumas. But if you really pay attention, like I did the second time I watched it, you will realise it is much more than that. It is a tale about life and togetherness. I would love to see this short series get the recognition it deserves but I guess this is kind of an acquired taste that only a few will enjoy. A secret I hope I am passing to you.

I was embarrassed of how bad and boring it is
15 June 2022
The plot was a mix between Mission Imposible/Stranger Things ( two different teams teaming up at the end)/ and some Jurassic park at the end. So it was the multiverse of no plot, so badly written that I wonder if I could do better with the same budget.

It's sad, just sad and boring.

They tried to do an Avengers movie in the DC universe
21 November 2017
First of all I want to make clear that I love DC characters more than any others superheroes characters out there. And what I expected from this movie was a dark and intelligent plot (I didn't find it).

The worst thing is that you can see they changed the movie plot an re-filmed a lot of scenes, I didn't know this, I could just imagine it from seen the movie and with a little research I found it to be true. I think they should have stuck to an idea.

The second worst thing is that they tried to do an Avengers/Marvel type of movie, and in top of that they did it wrong. Its unoriginal, full of cheap sentimentality and the plot is the simple "good guys against bad guys" you could expect from a Power Rangers chapter (one of the really bad ones).

With the money they spent in this, I swear I could at least write something better. Maybe film it as well.

I hope we forget this as soon as possible, Thank you for reading me

The Bronze Garden (2017– )

I love it!
23 August 2017
I have been living in Buenos Aires for 6 years now, I believe that El Jardin de Bronce paints a really accurate portrait of the city and the people living in it.

I got caught in the beautiful and sad pictures since the beginning. Joaquin Furriel as Fabian Dabubio makes an amazing job and great representation of a desperate father in a country where the police is more incompetent and corrupt than normal.

The only thing I didn't like is the final episode. I felt it was done too fast (it could have been done in two episodes) and it didn't represent the rest of the series. But anyway I love the series and I recommend it.
