The first season was great. The other 4 weren't needed at all. They had nothing to do with the first season. Seasons 3 and 4 were a waste of time. They made absolutely no sense. Ani is the worst character ever! Where were Courtney and Ryan. We only see them at graduation.

Season 2 was a disappointment, trying to make Bryce into a good guy. I felt sorry for him because it seemed like he was trying.

The last season was complete and utter stupidity. After everything that happened to Justin he should've been able to go to college and be happy. Instead they killed him off with AIDS.

I'm glad that the kids finally graduated and got on with their lives.

If you've seen Where the Crawdads sing and The Notebook you can guess where and how the story ends with a few variations and a different time period, during the Prhibition Era. It's the plots of both movies in a mash-up but focusing on blacks and the way they were treated before the civil rights movement and the prejudices that prevailed in the South. Also showed the corruption of government and officials that continues to this day in small towns.

The unknown actors did a very good job and the music and storyline were done well. It was a good movie, but I really enjoy the Madea movies better.
