FPS: First Person Shooter (2014)
Worth to watch if you are a fan of indie FPS games
I never thought I could keep watching this movie. But after 10 minutes I wanted to see what will happen at the end. It reminded me many scenes from the old indie FPS games specially Blood (1997). Blood was my favorite game along with Quake 1 and 2 and Doom series and that amazing Wolfenstein 3D (1992). It was a cheap movie but worth to watch. The filming location was creepy as hell and the ending was unpredictable at-least to me. The guy's voice also was also very similar to the Blood's one. If you like to be reminded about the old good times you were playing these games it is a good movie to watch. I am expecting to see more from the creator. He definitely showed some talents making this movie.
The Covenant (2006)
Wasting time!
Before I decided to watch this movie, I watched trailer on youtube. Based on the trailer, I got interested to watch this movie. But I am very regretful that I wasted my 97 minutes times watching this trash. There is nothing in this very awful movie that worth watching, from the cast to scenario. Actually there is no specific storyline and local or final target and objective. I can't understand what was the reason that they made such this trash. I remembered "Laura Ramsey" from "The Ruins". Her casting in that movie was outstanding and was another reason of mine to keep watching this movie. Also "Renny Harlin" has several good movies in his background like "A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988)", "Die Hard 2 (1990)" and recently "12 Rounds (2009)". It seems "Screen Gems" company did very big mistake in producing this low level movie. I strongly recommend not watching this movie and saving your time to watch more interesting movies that you can find in the market.
Lost (2004)
I have lost "Lost"
I started watching "Lost" from lately 2008. At that time four complete seasons were aired and the fifth season was on the plan to be aired in the beginning of new year, 2009. I finished watching all four seasons, within three month and followed every week the fifth season. I can surely assert that this the most acclaimed story I have heard ever. I liked all details and sub-stories, I liked the characters one-by-one from Jack and John to Miles. I couldn't forget Ben and his outstanding casting in season 2. Each individual character had its own effect on the story. I was, am and will be a big fan of this descent TV series. I was very connected to John Locke. I thought that his character was close to my own. Terry O'Quinn was very good in this job and he did very well. Also Michael Emerson as Ben. Also I liked the mysterious Richard Alpert. As I am a big fan of "Saw", I found some stuff in casting in these two dramas: Michael Emerson was Zep Hindle in Saw and Ben in Lost. Ken Leung was Detective Steven Sing in Saw and Miles in Lost.
Flashforward (2009)
finished but puzzles remained
I was thinking that this "Flashforward" could be an alternative to big and decent "Lost", but I was wrong. The creators started very wisely but finished with many unresolved issues. I couldn't believe that they don't want to continue next season. Obviously the story in first season remained unfinished and at least it needs one more season to accumulate all opened stories. Between all artists I liked the "Sonya Walger" as "Dr. Olivia Benford". She accomplished her job very well as a responsible wife and doctor. Her rule in "Lost" didn't prepare an opportunity for her to reveal her capabilities but here in "Flashforward" she proved herself. I extremely recommended to everyone watch this TV series, although at the end you will found many stories unfinished.
