Watching Chad try to talk to Sharla for the first time had me crylaughing louder and longer than I ever have at any television program since I Love Lucy.
It's not pretentious, it's not mocking its audience, it's heartfelt and beautiful and genuinely funny. The characters are so real that I found myself recognizing them (my high school definitely had a Grump, a Destiny, a Johnny Slade, a Troy, and I myself was the Chris Novak). I am so disappointed that this series is so short.
