Insight on the US secret service protecting the president
14 April 2014
This documentary from Discovery Channel follows US secret services in charge of the Presidents security. The name of this documentary in the first place is misleading as there are no secrets revealed and the topic is solely the security threats and protection of the president. It fails to bring any interesting or new real insight. The film is poorly directed with hectic editing. There are too many shots per seconds - every scene is supplemented by cuts to sketches, images, slow motion and camera movement making you dizzy and giving the impression that the directors are trying to make up for lack of valuable content. There are some interesting specialists but they are mostly asked to contribute punchline testimonies and their interviews feel staged. The worst part is really the psychotic pace of the editing...
