Brassic: Episode #3.1 (2021)
The Tupperware
I laughed so hard I made my dog bark. Any time these city boys interact with farm animals, it is golden. The writer(s) deserve so much credit but the main actors are stellar, not a false note in any of them, they are so well-cast they make this show worth watching. I am not sure how they manage to deliver their lines with such a complex script with so many actors in a single scene. The characters are well developed and believable. I read where Joe did a controversial interview when he said that a life of thievery is not an easy life, that is obvious. It never fails to amaze me how the jobs are planned out of such eternal optimism. . I'm not sure how the geniuses running this show do it but Brassic manages to work at two levels, it is both amusing in a slapstick Keystone Kops, The Gang that Couldn't Shoot Straight fashion and quite moving when it comes to the characters who suffer from years of dysfunction, poverty, and neglect. Despite all that dysfunction, these people love and support each other.
Mad About You: Anderson Cooper and Other Fantasies (2019)
Everyone in a relationship should hear the soliloquy at the end of this episode. Everyone.
Is this ever spot on for type-A folks who need to know how someone who lives with/works with/interacts with a type-A personality can feel about sharing their feelings. Genius honesty.
