Good study of love relationship
19 December 2020
It was pleasure to see such a fine study of love relationships in this serial. A romantic encounter does not lead to breaking of marriage of any one of those who participated in it. So much depends upon those four persons involved in those marriages.

Reminder of the first American Tragedy
30 November 2018
Though it's title is Comedian it's a Tragedy and it reminds well of Arthur Miller 's classic, the first American Tragedy The Death of a Salesman. Jackie' s character played superb by Robert de Nero seems to be his own life's story in a different way. As many reviewers say he doesn't make us laugh but why should he? Its not a traditional popular comedy. May be the screenplay writer has failed to bring out the dark comedy or tragicomedy which the original writer had in his mind. As Benn said rightly we relate ourselves to the character. Why should he bend to public demand? The court scene is central. No court in the world has ever given justice which is there in the mind of the judge but they have to conform to the letters of the law. The lady judge respects the great actor but her hands are bound by court laws. Each one of us will get the same treatment in court if we try to uphold our individuality. I could not watch the full movie. Its not available by any means in India. Global Village is name sake. World was more modern 20-30 years ago when in Pune a few well known stores were there who used to get any famous movie abroad in Video Cassette or DVD form before arrival of streaming. Now nothing is available. Netflix told I cant get this movie. Its not on Amazon Store or Prime.
