I am a HUGE Mel Brooks fan. Blazing Saddles and Spaceballs are my two favorite movies. That said this is NOT Mel Brooks humor. I am surprised and disappointed he allowed his name to be associated with this garbage. I had high hopes since some of my favorite actors and actresses were involved (Jessica St. Clair, Sarayu Blue, Wendi McClendon, Danny Devito, and Rob Corddry) it would outweigh so many talentless hacks that were also in it (Nick Kroll, Wanda Sykes, Will Sasso, Josh Gad, and Jason Alexander). If you are a true Mel Brooks fan this will be a let down. I tried to give it a chance and could force myself to watch 2 1/2 episodes.

Funniest episode of the series

This is by a long shot the funniest episode of the series. David Cross is hilarious when he's playing his normal, sleazy self around Maya. He's also hilarious when Jack is trying to explain the pneumatic tubes.

Extraordinarily touching

Warning: Spoilers
I am not easily affected emotionally. This film however was extraordinarily moving. I found it hard to watch Val deal with his current health situation. I found myself misty eyed more than once. I would definitely recommend this to any fan.

Oddly captivating

I caught this show on Amazon Prime. Since I liked Ron Livingston in Office Space I thought I'd give it a chance. The odd thing is that it's not very good, yet I can't stop watching because I want to see what happens next. Maybe it's the heavy subject matter, or the fact that the rare attempt at humor misses. Will Sasso also does the show no favors. He plays the same character he plays in everything he's been in, the fat, obnoxious oaf who thinks he's lovable. And don't even get me started on the whole Cutter storyline. He was unbearable.

I love this show

As a child of the 80s I love this show. I can really appreciate the music, TV, and pop culture references. The only thing I don't like about this show is Barry's fits and temper tantrums. Starting about season 6 they get really old.
Never got to see it

I never got to see this episode which sounds like it was one of the best of the series. The reason for this "review" is how Netflix handled it. Hulu removed it as well but kept the proper episode numbers. Netflix renumbered them essentially erasing the episode. It's like it never existed. That it total garbage!
Will Sasso ruined it

Got old fast
20 June 2020
Watching Tanner win more often than not along with his whiny "YEAAAHH" got unbelievably old fast. The format where they were in front of the audience part of the time along with the Stig, and "Big Star, Small Car" was the best. Once they started with the format of them always being outside on their "challenges" it became almost unbearable.

Don't waste your time.

I will keep this short. This has to be the dumbest show I have ever seen, no exaggeration. It's not even remotely funny. The only redeeming quality of this show Is Jillian Bell. If she were in it more it might be watchable.

This was plain awful
27 May 2016
I'll keep this short and sweet. This is just plain awful. I usually enjoy Adam Sandler movies, but this was plain horrible. Considering Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison are two of my favorite movies I expected more. The only chuckle I got was David Spade's threesome scene. The rest of it was either predictable and just not funny at all. How Nick Swardson keeps making his way into Sandler's movies is beyond me. He is quite possibly the most unfunny person on the planet. As I write this I am an hour and twenty minutes into it and I doubt I can suck it up and watch the last 25. Don't waste your time. This was 80 minutes of my life I wish I had back.
