The Open House (2018)
Maybe this is a new genre. Still, I hated it.
A so-called movie by two directors I watched in Netflix. I am still angry not to the producers/directors/writers, to myself for acting randomly this time and not checking IMDB.
This thing is full of nonsense that puts you in a mood that all these silly things are happening for a reason so you keep watching. Then, nothing! A huge nothing without understanding anything. What can I say? We are fooled and they made us watch it. Maybe in the future, this will be a new genre that we do not understand now. We want things that we understand or we are used to. That's why everyone, including me, is criticizing so harshly. If you watch it, just relax. Getting angry does not help you, in fact I relaxed while writing this. You may follow the mood change:)
The Kindergarten Teacher (2018)
Dis
The theme is that there is kindergarten teacher who is attending poem writing classes for adults. She is not talented in writing poems but is in identifying a poet as her luck shines when one of her students turns out to be 5 or so-year old poem prodigy.
I have to admit that it was quite disturbing to watch the protagonist, named Lisa, to have unacceptable behavior. While watching you are trying hard to convince yourself that what Lisa is doing as she is carving out the talent of her students will pay off. At the same time, you do know that Lisa is on the verge of ending up with a big fault.
Separated at Birth (2018)
Average TV movie
This is a low-budget tv movie that holds on to the suspense to keep the audience focused and it is successful in that in fact. Though, the dialogues are weak and the flow could be more elaborate. I do not think it is stereotypical and rather the movie highlights that one captures the good and the evil at the same time and that time sometimes matters a lot.
