The Phantom of the Opera (2004)
Why was this made?
Story: 5 I really don't know if it is more enjoyable as a play, but it's very boring as a movie.
Acting: 6 I really don't know who was responsible for casting, but almost all characters were miscast. The performances were mediocre at best.
Direction: 8 quite good actually and keeps you engaged.
Music: 8 the highlight of the film as it is a modern take on the original score.
Average: 6.75

Sense and Sensibility (1995)
A film that truly balances romance and drama.
Story: 7 a beautiful period romance that captures the culture of a different time which is typical of Jane Austen's novels
Direction: 8 pleasant with no unnecessary scenes
Acting: 9 emma thompson is magnificent honestly and even overshadows kate winslet
Music: 9 an absolute delight
Average: 8.25
Atonement (2007)
Well made movie adaptation of a great novel, yet it disappoints.
Story: 6 stale with an interesting plot twist
Direction: 10 absolutely brilliant with skilled cinematography
Acting: 8 well rounded, but Saoirse Ronan really shines.
Music: 7 average
Average: 7.75
Aquaman (2018)
A pleasant surprise!
I generally don't like DCEU because it doesn't know what it wants to be, but this movie is different because to me, it belongs to the MCU. It has everything I'd want in a superhero movie: background story, comedy, romance, action, and most importantly, quirkiness. I'm not saying it is perfect because it obviously isn't. The jokes felt somehow forced and very lame sometimes, and the romance was a bit stiff and very predictable, but I still enjoyed my time. It felt more like an animation film than a live action movie honestly, which is great.
Big Little Lies: You Get What You Need (2017)
Pure Excitement!
Definitely the best episode of the show and maybe even the best finale ever!
It really wraps up the entire series into an hour of pure excitement, and everything makes sense now. Some reviewers already predicted its ending, but I think watching it actually play out is still a shock. My heart was racing the entire time!
Beyond the shadow of doubt, it was a great way to end an amazing show. I feel like I am fully indulged into the show now and understand the characters better. That makes me want another season, but I'm afraid they might ruin it, so it might be a better idea to let it end on a high note.
I'm going to miss these ladies for sure.
