Great First season - now has become too smart and confusing for regular viewer!
1 July 2020
This was memorable in its first season complementing another masterpiece from Germany - Babylon Berlin. But watching the third season, get the feeling that it is no more meant for the regular viewer. It has become to convoluted, too complex and too smart for its own good.Unless you are a 'Dark' nerd ,pretty hard to follow the plot. Secondly the reason the first season was good was it focussed on the characters and their decisions. Now it seems, the story is like a comic book - nothing really matters because everything can change and go back to whatever with the time machine and it does every hour. Baffled by the writing and the lack of understanding. Watch Inception chaps - the movie was good because you cared for the characters and their eventual fate, however cunning the plot.

2020 Golden Globe Awards (2020 TV Special)
8/10
The Best opening monologue for a decade! Bravo Ricky Gervais!
8 January 2020
Firstly, Ricky was the star and without him it would've been so boring. He was right over 3 hours with adverts is so long! But the opening monologue by Ricky was one of the sharpest and the best for years. He was able to capture the sentiment of people watching the program and kudos to Ricky for that. Almost all of his lines were quotable and were repeated in the offices the next day! Bring him back on again!! Some of the winners of the awards were surprising and could've done without the speeches by some of them - Patricia Arquette,Michelle, etc. All in all a higher rating only for the one and only Ricky Gervais!

Billions (2016–2023)

Season 4 - Taylor Mason character is NOT why we watched Billions! Poor Season!
24 June 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This used to be so good with great writing. What happened to the writers? Enough with the Taylor Mason Character who is a poor antagonist . None of us watch Billions for the Mason character. Needed a much better antagonist .

Also baffled by the lazy writing of getting Wendy Rhoades and Axelrod together after resisting that lazy, easy angle for three seasons. Chuck and Bobby going against each other again is just a redo of the previous seasons and did not like the two endings of the season. Lazy Lazy writing! Also get rid of Taylor Mason and get a worthy opponent for Bobby Axelrod!

Decent start, went nuts once it moved to russia!
3 December 2018
Decent start, went nuts once it moved to russia! Jodie has a future! Who are these people who are voting 10/10 ? For any serial or any movie? A full 10? A Nadia Comaneci ? When there's blatant attempt to screw the ratings, my rating is deliberately 1 (it should be 6-7). But people, if you see anyone voting 10/10, please don't hesitate to give it 1.

When an actress needlessly becomes political, the movie flops!
7 November 2018
When needless politics is brought into a movie it flops - ergo 'The First Man' !

Its really odd why young actresses (Claire Foy) who have no idea or experience of life get political and in a needlessly offensive way.

ACTORS - usually very poor students who don't make it to Uni or any big job. In between cocktail waitressing, land acting gig and suddenly they feel they understand the world, can dictate opinions and are the smartest ever ! Everyone understands this and plays along except again the empty-handed headed Celebrities !!!!!!!!!!!?!!!!!!

Glad the movie is bad and generic and hopefully it flops! A two-fer for Claire Foy with the First Man and this one!
