Alluri (2022)
Cliched and very badly made movie!
The movie initially looks like a serious cop thriller, but, is so cliched. The scenes, drama everything gives a dejavu. There are scenes which are just lifted from other hit Telugu movies and rewritten, and re rotten very bad. There's nothing exciting about this movie. Every scene and entire drama seem so forced. The characters and their act is so boring, and none of technical departments make any impact.
The romantic track is so artificial, and the beginning portions of elevating the hero are so so bad. I'm surprised Sree vishnu who made some decent movies agreed to do this movie!!? - skip this movie it ain't worth your time.
Dream (2012)
Masterpiece! A most brilliant movie that's ever made!
One needs a deepest understanding of dreams (how they're) to make a movie like this. I'm sure the director remembers most of his nightmares/dreams - because the scene/scenario creation and their detailing is just mind-blowing; especially the part on the repeating faces and protagonist's interaction with 'em - And then, just everything.
Chathur Mukham (2021)
Silly Movie!
A genius who can build a phone that charges from the surroundings could not get a better selfie camera.. What a pity? Who writes these kind of silly scripts, I only can wonder...
The White Tiger (2021)
An Aggressively Average movie!
Nothing new or nothing great with the story. A regular rags-to-riches story with some good performances. Don't have your expectations high.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 12: The Siege (2020)
A Middling treat!
If not for the baby yoda's cuteness relief, this is another boring episode of the series.
And, Gina Carano - Seriously? - She's such a bad actor in a super-tight costume. She's clearly super-uncomfortable in that outfit :/
With Esposito back in business, let's wait and see what's in for the next week!
Palasa 1978 (2020)
The In-between treat!
The premise had an immense potential. But, some choices made by the creative team while writing sub-plots fail to create an engaging screenplay. The raw and rustic feel of the movie also takes a hit by the amateur act of the cast. Also, Director suddenly comes out of his way when he wrote some characters like the police officer who appears in the later half (you suddenly feel you're watching a regular movie). This very uneven narration would take you away. These genre movies need to be very engaging and very carefully written to give a long lasting experience.
But, this seems to be written by a team who have different schools of thinking.
Can you watch it?
Of course, yes. It's not a bad movie in any form. It's just an in-between treat (neither raw nor regular)
