A story of true valor
7 July 2020
This movie (despite its occasional poor reviews) is fantastic. On a film basis, the movie does a great job introducing you to characters you'd want to learn the true story of. I read the book by Clinton Romesha (depicted by Scott Eastwood) last year entitled "Red Platoon" and always had an interest in learning more about the events that unfolded that day. This movie, in my opinion, did the book justice. As far as filmography is concerned, it was great. Realistic action, gunfire, explosions, etc. that youd expect to see in a war movie. The added aspect of realism was the trauma that you can see in the actors portrayal of their characters eyes that can only be a glimpse into what they experienced. Watch the movie, read the book, or vice-versa. Just remember the names.

911: In Plane Site (2004 Video)
2/10
A poor attempt at scare tactics
24 August 2014
I honestly have never reviewed anything on IMDb, but I felt it necessary to do so for this "documentary". First off, it looks like the narrator was straight out of a late night home shopping show from the mid 90's. He does try to sell you on his radio show as well and there are just as many plugs for that radio show as there are "facts" and statements taken completely out of context that are bent to fit his theory. Not only does he ramble on about the definitions of words that he repeats to brain train you into believing his crapola, but he also uses reports given by people on 9/11 before they had the facts. I got really upset when they actually added in sound effects to one of the towers coming down to sound like a controlled demolition. There is a note at the bottom that says that the sound effect was added for illustration, but it was in poor taste. Might as well add in some sounds of people screaming too.

In addition to saying "question" before every question he asks, he also repeats the living heck out of himself. The narrator is extremely annoying and loves to hear himself talk.

I gave it 2 stars because there were some interesting things I didn't know about the events of 9/11. This would have been a much more productive documentary had the narrator not misled you at the beginning saying that you should make up your own mind, but forcibly ram down your throat that it IS a conspiracy.
