Despite a great cast, this movie deserves its negative reviews. While the film is never boring, I didn't particularly care for any of the characters; the stepbrothers were irritating with their constant high-fives and fraternity brother dialogue; the "bullied" young woman seems more angry and bitter instead of victimized, leading us to lack sympathy. The movie becomes tiresome, complicated and painful to sit through. When the end credits rolled, I finished the last of the popcorn and did what I should've done in the first place: watch Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) for the third time. Fantasy Island is a dull, lifeless mess that will most likely be on DVD in a few weeks. The cast deserves much better than this - and so do we.

The Kick-Ass Harley Quinn We Deserve
7 February 2020
Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is by far the greatest comic book movie, especially for DC. Once again Margot Robbie shines as Harley Quinn, delivering a fun-filled and deranged carnival ride. Everyone brought their A-game to this film. It's an action-packed, R-rated, hysterically funny movie that you have to watch on the big screen! Grab your popcorn and get ready for a violent, kick-ass ride with everyone's favorite bad girl: Harley Quinn!

A Seriously Scary Movie!
7 August 2019
As a fan of the books for over thirty years, I couldn't wait to finally see these terror tales on the big screen. Let me just say it was definitely worth the wait. This is one seriously scary movie! From corpses, scarecrows and creepy spiders, there's plenty to make you jump and cringe. The cast was amazing and Natalie Ganzorhn can definitely scream! I would avoid letting kids see this movie because it's very creepy. I must've jumped at least ten times. To be honest I'm surprised it managed to avoid an R-rating. Rest assured this is a fun, scary fright flick. I loved every second of it.

A Fun Horror Flick
21 June 2019
What a great movie! It's bloody, gory and very fun. Chucky definitely gets an upgrade in this clever reboot; yes, the doll looks much different than what horror fans are used to, but it all works. The cast is perfect; the kills are grotesque; and it's a thrill ride for the entire 90 minutes. 'Child's Play' delivers the bloody fun.

Bloody, Gory Fun

This movie was awesome from beginning to end. Hellboy is a great character with a wicked sense of humor. It's a fun action horror movie with blood, gore, and tons of amazing monsters! Baba Yaga was my favorite. She'll definitely cause a few nightmares!

Suicide Squad (2016)

This is Harley Quinn's Movie, and I Couldn't Be Happier!
6 August 2016
As a fan of both Harley Quinn and the Suicide Squad comic books, I was very excited to see the movie. While a few parts were lame (plot), and some characters were completely unnecessary (Slipknot), it was a fun ride. This is Harley Quinn's movie! Margot Robbie was the perfect choice to portray our favorite DC anti-hero. She's sexy, wacky, and capable of taking care of herself. Ignore the critics and watch the film in 3D this weekend. It may have a few flaws, but overall it's the perfect summer blockbuster. Be warned: The Joker isn't in the movie very much. Jared Leto was wonderful during his limited screen time and shares beautiful chemistry with Margot's Harley Quinn. Never listen to the critics; watch for yourselves. If you're in the mood for a fun action film, be sure to check out Suicide Squad.

Actually Better Than the Original
15 July 2016
Ghostbusters (2016) has exactly what you'd expect from a horror comedy: laughs and scares. With an A+ director and cast, not to mention some terrific cameos, it's the best film of 2016. In fact (and I mean this in all honesty), this is much better than the 1984 original. Everything about this film works. Kate McKinnon can do it all. I was thrilled to see her on the big screen, whether flashing a grin or rocking yellow goggles, not to mention those ghost gadgets! Please ignore the bad reviews! This movie had us smiling from start to finish. We loved the scary effects and the 3D made everything pop. At one point I thought slime was actually going to flood the auditorium! Be sure to check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Cooties (2014)
9/10
A Hilarious Gross-Out Horror/Comedy
18 September 2015
'Cooties' is a hilarious horror/comedy about teachers dodging their students, who have just consumed a bad batch of chicken nuggets. Now these children are crazed, blood-thirsty zombie brats. With an all-star cast, outrageous gore, and side-splitting laughs, 'Cooties' is one of the best movies I've seen in years. Be warned: 'Cooties' earns its R-rating within the first five minutes! Expect a lot of blood and gore with this one. But if you can handle extreme bloodshed it'll be a fun ride. Unfortunately, this movie will probably turn you away from chicken FOREVER! We watched this movie at a special screening, and the entire auditorium laughed and screamed. It's not an Oscar contender; it isn't supposed to be analyzed or studied. 'Cooties' is simply a fun, bloody tale about misfit teachers battling zombie children. Grab some popcorn, get comfortable, and enjoy!
