At first I thought this was just a way for Shia LaBeouf to say, "Look at me I had a crappy life!" but then it changed and I was sick for this little boy (Shia) the whole time. I wanted to reach out and grab him and hold him and tell him it's going to be ok, and I would NEVER let anyone hurt him, ever! I haven't heard anyone say, "Where the hell was his MOTHER?!" Maybe they said and I didn't catch it, but she is just as responsible as his despicable father. I can't understand why no one stepped in and stepped for this child? Even the Big Brother guy could have had him arrested and get the mother to come and get him?! Thousands of kids go through the same thing, and it's important for parents to see this and see how it affects their children, but it's just upsetting for most people watching it. I didn't enjoy any of it. This girl taking him out of this for a minute was sweet at first but crossed the line. He needed someone to protect him. To love him and give him kindness and joy and god this made me sad. I am sorry that this happened to him and all of us who didn't have a safe and loving father. The thing is they're our father and it's awful that we feel or that we have to keep them in our lives. As a rule, as the law. It really got to me in a bad way...obviously. The acting was great and it kept my interest but that's all I say about it. I'm sad now...

I (we) started watching these three episodes because we all like to find new Christmas shows to watch. These however, were almost impossible. We kept getting caught up in the bad dubbing of everyone's voices. There were also a lot of scenes that seemed completely nonsensical. There are some good actors but all-in-all in my opinion, It was all making it way too difficult for us to just relax and enjoy it...

You CANNOT just CHANGE everything in the second season and call it Season 2! That's ridiculous. I'm so upset because I finally got into the first Season and was so happy to find the second Season and it's a different girl (woman)?!! With a completely different family?! This is horrible...I couldn't get into to this at all! What a shame. Ever hear of "If it isn't broke-don't fix it" for gods sake. Just...No.

Obviously, I am no great writer or reviewer, so I just want to share what I feel about this series.
It's steeped in mystery and history, and some say the history is wrong but I say, it's just someone else's story. I am not a woman who likes romance, but this series grabbed me by the corset and didn't let go. I was so deep into the series, that I didn't feel as much pain and that's a great accomplishment. It also showed me how my Ancestors may have lived. My family came from the Fraser Clan and I longed for more family history. I happily found some and it made me love this even more. These poor men and women (and their children) had it so incredibly rough, it made me realize how lucky we are. The story is fascinating, beautiful, brutal, sensual, thrilling, intense, witty, emotional, joyful and even frightening at times. It's also great to see a love that can last through many hardships and battles. I adore this story (as corny as that's sounds) and I cannot wait to read all the books too. This is just how I feel...thx

The Dubbing Over The Voices Was Painful...

Watching this was like watching a good Godzilla movie, except for none of the the good and no Godzilla. Seriously, it's got beautiful cinematography and the wardrobes are amazing, the acting was ok too but the "clues" were given away quickly and then it just got slow and like I said, the dubbing over the voices?! Terrible! I had to stop it...
