An Inconvenient Truth (2006)
A must-see documentary for everyone who cares!
Global warming is there. If you want to learn more about this issue and remove these clutter caused by corrupt politicians and money lovers around this extremely important phenomenon, just do a favour and watch this.
It also won the Best Documentary Feature at the Academy Awards plus another one for its song.
Our planet needs protection and our lifestyle must change. On this documentary, you will see why and how you should consider that.
An Inconvenient Truth is also strong in technical aspects and its balance in edits was great.
David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet (2020)
Humanity's destructive impact on nature
If you care about yourself, the next generation, nature and animals... do yourself a favour and watch this strong piece of work.
It's a dazzling documentary about our impact on planet earth and how we can reverse it to our own benefit and have a sustainable lifestyle.
The whole team did a wonderful job on this documentary. Perfect narration, superb soundtrack, dazzling cinematography, meticulous editing, professional directing, and wonderful storytelling in a linear way.
The only thing that could be better in this wonderful and necessary-to-watch piece of beauty is, focusing more and deeper on the solution part and trying to show to the masses that changing the lifestyle is easier than it seems. It's just the clutter that big political and economical powers are making to stop you from hearing the nature's sound and will!
I myself have changed my lifestyle years ago and I'm extremely happy about my decisions. It's been now six years that I'm a vegan and I never ever looked back to that dark and wrong lifestyle and diet.
I believe we can change our system and lifestyle to our benefit. It's not impossible. They're just new different ideas, we just have to adapt ourselves to them.
Witnessing all of these horrible things that lots of us are doing to this world is hard on these kinds of documentaries but it's something that we have to do and this one was another eye-opening and inspirational one.

1917 (2019)
I was mesmerised!
This film is a breakthrough in terms of the production values. Its cinematography was astonishing. I felt like I'm there with the characters and feeling all of those activities that were happening.
It is still unbelievable for me to understand how they could handle those scenes, sequences and edits!
There was a lot of minute details that they take care of like a master.
Don't even doubt that you are watching a masterpiece, a 21st century beauty, a gift from cinema, a great tribute to the victims, a great tribute to the humanity, dignity, morality...
Sam Mendes, Roger Deakins and Lee Smith immortalise themselves with this masterpiece.
I was in a very emotional state during and after watching this film. Actually the amount of work that I know they put on to this film was overwhelming and fantastic.
There are some sequences that you will not forget ever in your life.
George MacKay and Dean-Charles Chapman did a great job and the rest of the cast were amazing also.
Thomas Newman was very good and helped to build the emotional state of the scenes.
I think the only weak points about this film were toning down war and depicts it as "soldiers-life-matters-first" and a bit predictability of the screenplay.

The Cave (2019)
Very hard to watch but it's a must-see!
It's a great documentary with so many human messages from the start.
Its production values are very good and it's a well-made one.
Sacrificing, danger, fear, war, politics, life and death are among the few themes that you can look through this documentary with the film-maker.
There was another reason that makes watching this documentary hard for me, besides its disturbing imagery which was the fact that my corrupt government is behind all of these and is supporting Bashar al-Assad and its allies to crush Syrian people like this... It's very hard for me to even think about this!
We have so many problems in Iran with our government and they're doing these horrible activities abroad also.
Hope all we can live in a world without these dictators and these totalitarian governments someday...
The Neighbors' Window (2019)
One of the best short films ever!
A great deep look at regret and cherishing what you achieved in life.
Don't forget that it's not a major feature-length production film! it's a short film!
It could be better in some degrees but it conveys its message greatly.
Academy awards picked it correctly.
8.3/10
Jojo Rabbit (2019)
Let's take another look at hate!
It's an excellent film in every single aspect that you can think of.
It's humour, acting, message, production values, screenplay, directing, score...
I actually fell in love with it.
To me, Jojo Rabbit is one of the best films ever made!
The balance in this film was fantastic and I can say I enjoyed almost every minute of it.
Hatred (Esp. in a blind way!), love, passion, war, xenophobia, racism, humour, imagination, childhood, maturity and politics were among the numerous themes you can find in this masterpiece.
I think we're all need to be more cautious about other films done by Taika Waititi after this!
9/10
Gisaengchung (2019)
The best film in 2019
I doubt that there's a better film out there than this masterpiece in 2019!
Almost everything about this film was perfect with numerous messages, elements and layers.
The production and performance were magnificent. The humour "Black comedy" was great, the "Pain" was real and the cinematography was dazzling.
I'd like to thank Bong Joon-ho in person for this masterpiece!
"Poverty and being indecisive can make life a perfect mess and miserable"
9.2/10
Sly (2018)
Kamal Tabrizi goes to my blacklist.
He and the whole team of this film are a disgrace to the Iranian people!
It was obviously funded by the government!
3.3/10
Sin City (2005)
I don't get why people liked it!
It's visually cool because of the selective colour and some experimental lighting techniques... yes but so what!!!
It's weak and disgusting almost in all of the other aspects!
Sometimes people overreact about new stuff which is illogical...
5/10
The Lion King (2019)
I disagree with the critics!
Sometimes some remakes are unnecessary but this kind of animation remakes are necessary because of the massive progress of technology that we can see these days!
I love this remake, especially in terms of visual beauty. I love and respect the massive amount of work that they put on this film!
Just by looking at the mountain textures... Oh, what to say... there were tears in my eyes. My eyes couldn't believe what I've had seen on this piece of work, so realistic.
I'm a photographer and this blows my mind, depth of field consideration, the field of view, motions, textures, consideration of the light behaviour... Did I mentioned the magnificent power of the sound works!
8/10
American Circumcision (2017)
I'm circumcised and...
If you are a caring person then you have to watch this. Especially parents!
I'm circumcised and I've never felt good about it and I'm not perfectly sure about the whole situation around this subject matter, but I'm sure this is not the right way to it, that's obvious!
People must think twice about this cruel act...
6.7/10
Us (2019)
Cheap Thrills
I don't know why American people like cheap thrills so much!!!
This movie is weak from any aspect that you can think of... and a disgrace for both Jordan Peele (Esp. after "Get Out") and Lupita Nyong'o!
Boof-e koor (1975)
If you're confused about the novel, this makes it more complex!
I know this movie is old, but it's no excuse for removing so much elements and stories from the original novel.
The original material was confusing for itself and this movie doesn't help at all for clearing some dusts from your mind.
The novel is weird, surreal and avant-garde; this movie could be way more better for enlightening some dark stuff in it, but there is nothing!
The Grapes of Wrath (1940)
As good as Dorothea Lange's Migrant Mother!
This movie is strong from top to the bottom.
From production to acting, everything is very very good.
I think it's the best movie about Great Depression era and it doesn't need more explanation!
A great historical movie about a very dark moment in time...
I love the way that John Steinbeck (The writer) puts the agnostic character to the heart of the story as a former religious person.
These kinds of movies are rare even these days!!!
8.5/10
The Devil and Father Amorth (2017)
The worst documentary ever!
Shame on you William Friedkin and LD Entertainment.
It is obvious that this documentary is an another effort of Vatican for keeping people under their own control with Totalitarianism attitude with force of Gabriele Amorth. It is obvious that a huge amount of money have been exchanged between Vatican and William Friedkin and LD Entertainment.
The actress who plays the Cristina was doing her job OK and I'm sure she is now very comfortable in her villa with the money that Vatican gives her for playing this role (A possessed woman from somewhere in the Italy - village of Venafro).
Just imagine the amount of money that causes William Friedkin an amnesia! Because as matter of fact he is an Agnostic, but when it comes to The Exorcist movie and the business around it he will forgot about that and leave it under the carpet.
Special effects for Cristina's voice was cheesy. come on! you could at least lesson to Gollum from The Lord of the Rings and learn from it. By the way, Other audio frequencies from anyone else in that room were leveled down when Cristina snarls to make it easy to overdub the Cristina's voice. I can make growls way more better than this cheesy overdub.
There was a moment that William Friedkin said, "They said to me that you can film the exorcism with just a camera and ALONE"
Why!!! just because Vatican could pay William Friedkin and that's it... it is a way more better idea instead of buying the whole crew!
William Friedkin forgot that he was limited to film the exorcism with limited equipment (just a camera) and filmed some of the other interviews with that Sony camera!!! Laughable... isn't it?
The overall production was bad.
The purpose and the message was horrible.
...Wait a minute... everything was horrible except the account balance of William Friedkin and LD Entertainment guys!
If you wanna indoctrinate people, do it at least professionally and believable!
Teheran Tabu (2017)
The most realistic narrated movie about Iran!
It's the most realistic narrated movie about Iran and our crap regime...
Of course its visual and some things about it can be more realistic and much more beautiful but there are lots of things in it that history must to know about!
By the way it's an adult oriented movie and not a family movie, be careful there are lots of inappropriate stuff in it for children like sex, abortion, porn, drugs, adultery, suicide, prostitution, strong language... I'm saying that because it's an animation and can 'cos misunderstanding sometimes.
It's a really suffocating experience to live in Iran. it's good to know that people from other countries know about it and care about it, they can see it in these kinda movies and try to avoid it in their countries, I mean don't let Islam or any other religion ruin your country like ours...!
The Bible: In the Beginning... (1966)
Hilarious!
As hilarious as the book!
I wonder why religious people doesn't believe in Harry Potter stories or J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord Of The Rings stories!!! these stories are way much stronger, logical and ethical than this ancient hilarious story.
We don't need religion for have a better life, just take a look in to our current world, more religion=more corruption, more poverty, more stupidity, more disaster, more lie, more uneducated people... just negativity!
And about professional things, Acting was just kinda OK for that era, cinematography was great (picture quality), sound works was very good, score was very good, directing was kinda good with lots of errors...
Nearly 3 hours... what a waste of time, but I just laughed some esp. in the moments when GOD was explaining how he created this world in 7 days and BLAH BLAH BLAH, penguins in the Ark! oh I don't wanna waste your time there is millions of non-senses in all the religious books.
I believe in Science and myself and the ethics, actually I'm Atheist (Vegan & Straight Edge) and I can admit religious people aren't ethical at all just hypocrisy and non-sense...
Live peacefully!
Titanic (1997)
The best movie ever!
First of all I need to say James Cameron is a genius, he done this masterpiece really precisely, he done a tons of researches for getting the best result, even the floor coatings' color/shape/texture.
James Cameron in some Interviews said: "still there is some errors in some parts" but I need to say come on... it's perfect, a little detail can not corrupt anything!
If I wanna talk about Titanic there is hundred things that I can mention but here's some of them.
Titanic is my favorite and number one movie ever because it's perfect in all the forms of film making, for example: Visual effects are perfect, Score and soundtrack are one of the best in cinema's history, Cinematography is perfect, Casting and Acting is great, Plot is great, Emotions throughout the film is superb, Directing is best, Production is extremely great, Entertaining level is more than any wants, Costume and production design is really precise and beautiful...
Love story in Titanic pictured perfectly, things such as: Emotions, love, looks, heart beats, remission, sacrifices, pleasures...
Even disaster of this ship and its passengers pictured and worked perfectly.
There is a great thing about this, you just wanna follow the whole things in the film 'til the end, all the scenes are beautiful even disasters and discrimination between British/Irish passengers!
There is just two things that I'm not completely alright with it: 1. length (not so much just about half hour!) 2. originality (Titanic made in the past dozens of times)
My final and precise rating for Titanic is "9.5".
I extremely recommend it to wise, emotional and lovers of cinema! I know some people who hate Titanic and all of them are extreme and irrational people!!!
I watched Titanic more than any movie out there!! 'cause I can feel it totally.
A big ThAnX for James Cameron for doing this and you for reading this.
Have fun.
Bailout: The Age of Greed (2013)
Very bad, Not recommend!
From the beginning you can find out this movie is an another B-movie (Direct-To-DVD).
Cinematography was very bad, plot wasn't good, directing was weak. Dominic Purcell did an average acting (too much "Stone face").
It's an another boring vigilante revenge movie!!
There was no positive feels or contents, just negativity!!! With this kinda movies you wanna stop violence and gun issues!!!!
If you are a logical person so this movie just waste your time. But if you are an extreme person maybe you like it.
Everything was predictable with too excessive violence.
I think the only good thing about this one was showing effects of financial crisis on weak people.
