This movie is a great attempt towards the revival of traditional Indian values which are being replaced by western ones.Its a joint family story showing all the ethics every person should follow while communicating with every single relative around.Shahid Kapoor gives a gr88 performance as a desi about to tie knot with Amrita Rao who is also very Desi and she also acts pretty well...The genre of the movie is the same as HAHK and such movies deserve to be made in India for the revival of old traditional values...The movies doesn't get 10 as it isn't very good at music which counts a lot in every movie,besides this it is flawless....

KANK is a movie with good body but the most evil soul.According to the director,the movie gives a message about the 'value of love' in a marriage but the way this movie has tried to show the value of love,it has in a way sidelined other important things such as space,compromise,care,motivation to understand the spouse,but promoted the concept of infidelity rather than condemning it and suggesting other ways to cement the relationship.The character building,the storyline,the dialogues and the script are awful.The only good thing about the movie is the cast,music and locales but these also fail to cover up the other flaws.On the whole the movie is just awful...

This is one movie which certainly deserves 10 out of 10 since it has all the elements which a good movie should have.Amitabh gives an awesome performance in the role of a murderer hiding in the house of a police officer but unwillingly as his wife has been his girlfriend before her marriage.Sanjeev Kumar as always,gives a bravo performance in the role of a helpless police officer who cannot take hold of a criminal because his son is his hostage.Although Sanjeev Kumar's role is a supporting one,it is very difficult to decide who has acted better between him and Amitabh.Sharmila Tagore also gives a great performance in the role of a woman trapped between her husband and her ex-lover.There is no flaw in the movie and the story all and all is 10 out of 10.Its a must for everyone!!!

This is an excellent movie showing the harsh realities of life.The movie on the whole belongs to Ashok Kumar,who gives an excellent performance in the role of a father whose children leave him when hard time comes.Sunil Dutt gives a bravo performance in the role of an adopted son who stands by his father when his real children leave him.This really shows his versatility.Nutan also gives a good performance in the role of Sunil Dutt's wife.However the reason why it cannot be given 10 is its music,which is not appealing at all.As far as storyline and direction is concerned,one cannot find any flaw in the movie.

This movie is the original source,which was later copied by Boney Kapoor as Bewafa.The movie is good but is depressing all the way.Sunil Dutt gives a good performance in the role which Akshay Kumar did,though he does not make a big impact since his coverage and shades are not very much.Ashok Kumar gives a gr8 performance in the role of a husband who is being cheated by his wife.Mala Sinha gives a gr8 performance in the role of an unfaithful wife who subsequently understands her mistake.The problem with the movie is that no one wants to see a simple man like Sunil Dutt acting as Emraan Hashmi of murder and making the girl cheat her husband,plus having no shades in his character.Shashikala gives an awesome performance in the role of a blackmailer and the role even won her an award.On the whole the movie is Okk but cannot be given 10 because of some depressing moments and miscast.

This movie is a light Muslim story with good songs and a very good star cast.Sunil Dutt gives a gr8 performance in the role of a simple Muslim poet who falls in love with the voice of a girl.Meena Kumari gives an awesome performance in the role of a girl who loses her voice just when she is a about to hear a good news.Rahman's role however does not suit him since his image which he has had because of his roles in Pyaasa and Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam,of a serious man,has been changed to a funny and a coward lover.Moreover the reason it does not get 10 is the flaw in its turning point.The turning point is a light one and so seems kinda funny.Overall the movie is very good and a light one.

This movie has a good cast and songs(Tum Agar Sath Daine Ka Vaada Karo)(Naa Mun Chuppa Ke Jiyo).Although the movie was a hit at its time but the main flaw is its direction.Initially the film seems to be a love story which then changes to an unfaithful type story and then to a mystery type of movie.Sunil Dutt gives a good performance as a man trapped under a mystery.Raaj Kumar also gives a good performance though his character is of no appeal or anything.The end of the movie is very strange and the presence of Raaj Kumar was not even needed in my opinion.On the whole the movie can be given 6 because of its good songs and some appealing thrilling moments but still direction really decreases it value.

This movie is a good one starring Nazir,Sunil Dutt,Asha Parekh and Nirupa Roy.The movie on the whole belongs to Nirupa Roy who gives a wonderful performance as a mother who leaves her daughter to a rich man's doorstep and meanwhile asks him for employment which she gets.The girl grows and thinks of her as her maid and she lives with this fact all along.Sunil Dutt gives a bravo performance as a poor music teacher who teaches Asha Parekh and consequently falls in love with her.Asha Parekh also gives a decent performance and so does Nazir.I would rate this movie as 8 out of 10 since it has a good story with good performances and songs like "Itna Na Mujhse Tu Pyar Badha".

To be honest,although this movie had a gr8 cast,the storyline had some flaws which affected the whole movie.The film starts with two bros living in a house with a soft hearted mother and a damn strict father whose anger kills one of his sons due to fear and subsequently heart attack.This mere fact seems damn strange.Moreover the fact that the other son finds out about a hidden past of his father does put a weight in the movie but then many other things like the son's marriage with a poor girl seems to be totally strange.On the whole,the biggest flaw in the movie is its story and direction but a good star cast like Ashok Kumar,Sunil Dutt and Nutan may give it a 4.

This movie is said to be the second movie of Aamir Khan and one really cannot believe that a movie-old actor can do such justice to his role.Aamir Khan stars as Aamir Hussain Khan(his real name),who gets into a fight with a hoodlum and as a result his ex-girlfriend(Supriya Pathak) gets raped.Aamir accuses himself for his ex's rape and decides to kill everyone who was involved in the rape issue.Meanwhile a cop(Pankaj Kapur) is also fed up of these hoodlums and therefore after looking at aamir's anger against them decides to help him out. Aamir Khan and Pankaj Kapur do whole hearted justice to their roles and Supriya Pathak also does good in the small role she has.If you wanna watch a romantic movie with hero and heroine running around the trees,this isn't your cup of tea.However if you want to watch an excellent movie with realistic touch,watch this movie as soon as possible.

This movie is one of the best movies of its time starring Sunil Dutt and Sadhna.It has thrill,it has mystery,it has good songs,good dances and strong performances.Sadhna gives a strong performance as a woman caught up by police and accused of being a bandit,whereas according to her she is wife of a big Thakur.Sunil Dutt gives a bravo performance in the role of a well read lawyer and a Thakur who loves his wife more than anyone but is depressed because of her death and because a young girl who resembles is wife is claiming to be his wife.The songs like "Mera Saaya",Nainon main Kajra" and all others have a strong appeal and Sadhna's dance in the songs "Nainon Wale ne" and "Jhumka Girra re" has been critically praised.On the whole I would say that the movie is a gr88 one and deserves to be seen.

This movie is a good flick showing the Joint family system in villages and there advantages and disadvantages.Sunil Dutt gives a bravo performance in the role of a physically disabled person who still wanna live the life in happiness but the society does not really want him to.This movie also won him a filmfare award and to be honest it was Om Prakash's or Sunil Dutt's performance which have carried the film on their shoulders.Nutan gives a good performance as his co-star and Om Prakash as I said also gives an excellent performance in the role of a man who is influenced a lot by his wife.The songs of this movie are also quite good therefore in my opinion this movie is a good one and should be seen.

This film is a good Sunil Dutt movie but quite a different kinda movie.Sunil Dutt gives a good performance all in all as a husband,whose wife is having an extra-marital affair,.Ashok Kumar gives a good performance as a supporting actor in the role of a lawyer defending Sunil Dutt.The leading lady's performance is also good.Besides the fact that it is based on a true story,it is also said to be the first movie in which a woman was openly shown doing adultery.The direction of the movie is also good however the screenplay lacks in pulling attention especially in the courtroom scene where Sunil Dutt is telling about the whole incident.In my opinion this movie is all in all I would say a good one and deserves to be seen,though I was not happy with the end of the movie.
