Supernatural: Stuck in the Middle (With You) (2017)
thank....god (?!)
The Tarantino style of the episode was something different and I appreciate these special types of episodes. Also, Jerry Trimble was very entertaining as Ramiel. We get to see the latest stop of the Odysee of THE Colt...nice. And while the "Prince of Hell" thing takes away something of the original "Yellow Eyes" (Whom I really liked) it was kind of nostalgic seeing those eyes again.
But, considering all of these points...the one thing that makes this episode worth watching is (thank...god(?!)) the return of Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer. He was just perfect for the role and I was disappointed in every actor playing the devil since he disappeared. So...let's hope we get to see more from him...Go Mark!
Supernatural: The Executioner's Song (2015)
well, well
This episode really makes me go "hmmmmmmm, meh..."
On one side, Cas, the brothers, Crowley and Cain did a really nice job. Especially Cain's character did a really nice turn in my opinion, thumbs up for Mr Omundson...but Rowena still doesn't excite me, there's no enthusiasm, no "wow".
Rowena could have been such an interesting character. but Ruth Connnel, while being such a beautiful women, is unfortunately a mediocre actress. And somehow, although the "Castiel needs his grace arc" and the "Mark of Cain arc" carry a lot of potential, that alone makes it the (to me), overall, worst season since season 6. It's just that you think, like "and that's supposed to be the big bad? oh noes, what a threat..." Azazel, Lilith, Luzifer, Dick Roman and by some means even Metatron, they all had some omg-factor that just isn't there.
Not knowing what will happen to Dean with the Mark and all is fine and thrilling, but there's some big evil missing. Which is actually also a bit like the first half of season 6. But, thats also where i got some hope from, since it's gotten better after all.
I love the series and i expect its going back on the track...so let's just hope for a better, second half of season 10.
Supernatural: Fan Fiction (2014)
thanks for everything
the episode wasn't the best ever, but i still enjoyed it... i don't like the constant innuendos of deanslashsam fan stories, i mean give poor dean a rest..but it had some laughs, some nice supporting characters... and i always liked chuck, i hope that was not the last we saw of him... but the big point to me, a fan since episode 1, was the final scene. carry on my wayward son, which accompanied us for 10 years and a (ok, female but) poor, dead bobby brought me, a 32 year old man to tears.
no matter what some people say, the show still has it.
thanks for 200 episodes. i hope there are 200 more.
