Insatiable (2018–2019)
10/10
Insatiable is irresistible, so I want more!
2 January 2021
I love this laugh out loud campy, Fatty Patty series! And it's not demeaning, it's a dark satire on the subject, which is meant to be just the opposite! I want more, I can't believe petitions were signed to have this removed! The critics got this one wrong! This is the quirkiest, funniest dark comedy I've seen in a very long time, I just love it & all the characters! The critics have let me down because it's been canceled, what a bunch of whiners! The audience are the best critics and most give this funny, loveable comedy a solid 10! This show is as good as it gets, and trust me I couldn't stop watching it, it's that GOOD! If you want to watch great acting, dark comedy, and excellent script writing then this is your show, don't listen to the critics! A solid 10! Give me more, I'm insatiable for Insatiable & I need more!

With Six you get a Good Movie!
27 December 2020
I saw this as a boy & I loved it! I still do because it's a retro look at life in the iconic 60's. It's full of physical comedy, camp, & the up's & down's of blending a ready made family! Doris Day & Brian Keith are an amazing team together. Keith was a good romantic choice, and a good looking man! I love Doris, what a fantastic multi-dimensional actress, just can't say enough about her! Pat Carroll as her sister & in her debut film, shows off her zany comedic timing as a gifted comedian. This is one of my most favorite movies! Not being a great reviewer, but a good critic I recommend seeing this light, bright comedy, and I think you'll feel better after watching! I gave it a 10 because I love it!

Pretty Polly/ A Matter Of Innocence A Great Vehicle for Hayley Mills!
26 November 2020
Polly Barlow a plain, intelligent, bookish young lady, is introduced to her rich, eccentric, flamboyant aunt & get's invited to travel to Singapore. There she meets several fresh interesting men, and for the 1st time has a romantic love interest with a gigolo/ escort, which she finds exciting, and fascinating! She's inwardly & externally transformed into a beautiful young woman through love, courage & freedom. It's a movie with many twists & turns, & comedy/ romance ensues. I fell in love with this new role for Hayley mainly because I loved her prior roles, she indeed was a stunning young girl, a search was made to elevate her into mature roles, as she was the sweetheart from many Disney films. Polly's uncle, Trevor Howard, who lives in Singapore with his Singapore native sex kitten (& often times vulgar mistress) co-stars in this quirky romantic comedy/ drama. Hayley shines throughout this exciting movie & it's one of my favorites from the Hayley Mills collection. It's nearing a 10 for me, I love it & think you will too. It was written wonderfully by Noel Coward, and this in itself elevates this wonderful movie for new film viewers!

Before the Fall (I) (2016)

"Sequel please!"
30 May 2020
I've become quite impressed with this movie. It's very moving, romantic, and yes I'm totally into the characters! I love the premise of this film, the title "Before The Fall". It takes the viewer into it's dream like state, and begins with 2 men who somehow meet by chance and the movie lulls & weaves you in. That's the magic of this movie. The scenery is beautiful, the cast is well chosen, and well defined. I've given this eight stars, all I wish for is a sequel! Chase Conner & Ethan Sharrett are such fine actors in this, I'd love to see more.

Exciting movie, I was in a unbilled bit role.
15 November 2014
Filmed in Seattle's,Pioneer Square location, this film was big news in '76.I was young and eager to learn the craft, (as this was my 2nd film to be in). The bar room scenes, and Joe as a boy, were favorites.I studied Peter Strauss and Barbara Parkins acting, and they were fantastic in their love scenes! B. Parkins, was very stunning! The war scenes were very realistic,as were the ballroom scenes, filmed in the(then)Olympic Hotel.I met most of the leads and crew, and it one of the highlights of my early career in films, stage and TV.I was only 23 and tried out for the comedy, buddy role...but lost out to a stronger contender! So I was cast in a bit role. I'll never forget the marriage scene! I found the director was very easy to take direction from, and the whole cast and crew worked well together! I wish the film would be played more! I keep watching for it to come on TV (even though I have my own copy)! I've got great memories,I loved working in this film, and loved my experiences in it! Thanks for the memories, Gary Zahnow
