Onisciente (2020)
The Low Tech Future
They don't even have AR glasses or even electric bikes, but they have drones that follow you all day. The drones aren't even 360 degrees view. Too low budget; I don't know if I survive the first 10 minutes here. Really weird flashing camera angles. Also, they have to explain everything, like they assume you're five years old. People also just look really weird, like third grade actors. Dialog is unnatural. I've only watched 10 minutes, but I can't stand this boooring stuff anymore. I'm out.
The Outsider (2020)
Not Sure Framed for Murder
So, basically, it looks like Not Sure is being Framed for murder. Stellar performance, but I hope it's not turning into something supernatural, not for this show.
The Widow (2019)
The Bad Acting is Unbearable
It just goes from one stupidity to another. It's unbearable to watch. What's with the constant weird facial expressions and the touching? The constant stupid background elevator music. The ones who did the writing for this is of lower intelligence.
Ok, I have now reached episode 5 and I'm going to change my review from 1 to a 7. It definitely picked up. It still sucks, but sucks a lot less than most out there today;) The mystery is something I want to figure out, so I'll stick to the end;)
Ok, I've now watched it to the end. There's really a lot of cringe, embarrassing cringe. The mystery was revealed and I must say, it wasn't spectacular. Nevertheless, it sort of kept my interest for 8 episodes and it's above most of the stuff out there;)
Polar (2019)
Flashing Gory Stuff mixed with Cartoon Bad Guys
This movies has troubles to take itself seriously, so why should we? Lots of flashing gory stuff mixed with cartoonish over the top bad guys. This could have been a good film, cause Mortensen is one of the best actors out there.
Impulse (2018)
McLovin' it; great SciFi for SciFi lovers
I think it's absolutely great. Great story and great character development. It's based on the movie Jumper and they know how to draw upon that story to make a great TV-show.
Other shows that I like, so that you know it's real scifi;) -12 Monkeys, The Lost Room, Continuum, The Tomorrow People, Day Break, all excellent scifi;)
The Sting (1973)
Rude and Unsympathetic
I love Redford in Three Days of the Condor and Sneakers, but this was a Redford I didn't much care for; a rude person. It gave me such bad vibes that I just had to turn it off.
Kidnap (2017)
Explosive from Start to Finish
I liked it a lot;)
There was some melodrama, but it was unexpectedly little; the movie went on a roller-coaster ride from start to finish and though it lacks in few departments, it really was a fun ride and I sat on the edge of my seat the whole time.
I can be negative if I'm being picky, but I won't, cause I had a great time.
Unlocked (2017)
So many stupid things
Well, I applaud the attempt at a political thriller; there's just too few of them, but there were just so many stupid things here. Why does the director thinks he needs to spell things out for us, like we're five? Is it because the IQ of the general population is below 80? It just ruins the magic.
Bokeh (2017)
Interesting concept, but fails
I like the concept of last person on earth, but these people are so stupid, it sucks more than anything that has ever sucked before.
I saw the whole movie, because I like the concept, but it's going nowhere. They just roam around with no plan and in the end the lady commits suicide. It's more like a dumbass take on the whole concept, instead of something that could have gone for several seasons.
Jue di tao wang (2016)
OK, Great, but could have been Epic
I'm Jackie Chan fan numero uno, first of all. The best movies were done where he did the directing, like Who Am I, Mr. Nice Guy and Operation Condor.
We got some taste of what we crave, but sadly the editing was bad. We still got some classic moves, but they paid too much homage to previous work and not enough originality.
This could have been a great movie and I secretly think it was sort of great, but they really screwed up and could have made an epic movie in the spirit of the greater older ones.
Whoever did the soundtrack for this movie, should be banned from ever doing another one. This music is not the type of music you put in a Jackie Chan movie. Look at music from Operation Condor and Who Am I; perfect scores for just the right amount of cheesy perfect dialog and out of this world action.
I miss the old days, but we still got to see something fresh and there was quite a few bites in this to satisfy a hungry Jackie Chan fan.
Jason Bourne (2016)
Oh, dear, what a waste of time.
I just had to express my frustration/anger at this movie. It sucked so badly; this is made for brainless f-tards. I don't know why I had hopes for this, cause everything these days is just empty. Going from one mindless thing to another and one convenience after another; it's like macgyver convenienism. Everything is just flashy and filled with effects for the sheep; there's really nothing here. Also, technically speaking, half the stuff they do here, is so wrong that you have to be a total noob to go along with. They really missed an opportunity here. Jason Bourne, the story, got really a lot to go with, if you have a good writer behind it and it could really challenge James Bond, which is also going downhill these days.
