I absolutely loved this film. I thought it was so well written and I disagree with the hate. People saying it was predictable, I don't think this was the point of the film. It wasn't made for it to be predicted, Damsel has a strong female protagonist who uses her survival instincts to keep herself safe and grounded in a life threatening situation, and I really admire that they wrote her so well. Elodie is a character to look up to, she has grace, charm and wit and I think the team on this film captured that well. It was not a film based solely about revenge which I thoroughly enjoyed, and it was nice to watch something that carried out a positive message with a positive ending that showed that people can change, and revenge is a dish best not served at all, and lies and deceit gets you nowhere.

Idk, I thought it was great, made me cry and the ending was happy 😊
