CannibalHouseTheBeginning
I have worked on a few local movies, in a variety of roles from make up/fx Rezilience: by Jayson Stuart to working in the art department on Cardinal made by CTV. I loved all the positions I have had, but writing is my true passion.
I recently finished shooting Cannibal House the Beginning , a short to be used as a proof of concept, and to be entered into festivals around the world. This short is the backstory to the feature Cannibal House which I have also written, with a twist on the ghost and zombie horror subculture that has never been seen until now.
I also have a couple of other feature films I have written and looking for funding:
Samantha a dark story of a young girl with a troublesome home life with her addicted mother that hooks to pay the bills. Her school life is worse, with constant bullying she seeks help on a children's hotline. The voice on the line twists the atrocities she has endured into a strength to go out in the world and avenge justice for others that were harmed such as herself. Which I hope to be my second film once Cannibal House comes to fruition.
Cabbie A story loosely based on my years of cab driving.
The Magic Cake Shop a comedy.

The Good Fight (2017)
An edgier version of The Good Wife
It was a pleasant surprise to see a spin off of The Good Wife. In general, (in my opinion) I find them to be lackluster and solely rely on one character from the original series.
The Good Fight is a breath of fresh air, bringing in the supporting cast of the original in the 1st episode with cameo appearances from actors that had minor recurring roles in The Good wife. IE - Hon Judge Abernathy aka Russel Edgington from True Blood in the 2nd episode.
While I admit it seems a little odd not to have the great Julianna Margulies in the follow up series, the use of profanity caught me off guard coming from The Women's Network, which is where I watched the episodes. I will say it did encourage me to watch it further, as to my recollection, beefing up the language and not bleeping it out, has never been done before.
All in all, I think it has the potential to last as long as The Good Wife, It surely has a strong female cast, all heroines in their own right, which I would expect nothing less from the network I saw it on.
Looking forward to the next episode.
