Doctor Who (2005)
Was a solid 8, now a pathetic 1.
I watched Doctor Who as a child in the '70s during the Tom Baker era. Loved it then, and was thrilled when the series was rebooted in 2005. I've watched it religiously ever since. David Tennant and Matt Smith were my favorite Doctors and I fell in love with Karen Gillan and Jenna Coleman as companions.
Then along comes Chris Chibnall. I think Jodie Whittaker is an accomplished actress, however even she can't save the dreck that comes from Chibnall's pen.
Goodbye Doctor. You will be missed.
Last Man Standing: Lost and Found (2021)
Extremely Disappointed with LMS. Woke racial BS.
Claiming that the character Chuck, a large black man, was arrested because he was racially profiled is woke racial BS. Anyone, regardless of race, who enters someone else's property to snoop around an old car without first getting the homeowner's permission, deserves to have the police called on them. And, if that same person doesn't have their ID on them when the police arrive, they also deserve to be arrested. Hopefully this is a one off for LMS. If not, I'm out.
Utopia (2020)
NOT an Amazon Original ...
But poor remake of the original, and fantsic British series.
Do yourself a favor, skip this and watch the original.
Doctor Who: Spyfall: Part One (2020)
A promising start for season 12
I almost didn't tune in after the PC bludgeoning handed out last season. This episode appears to be bringing Doctor Who back on track. Perhaps Chris Chibnall took last season's critique to heart. Only time will tell.
I am a fan of Jodie Whittaker, however, she still doesn't feel like the Doctor to me, unlike her predecessors who hit the ground running. Hopefully she'll find her stride this season. I really want her to succeed.
You Me Her: I'm Popeye and You're My Beautiful Spinach (2019)
Please keep the Liberal Agenda out of this show.
Let me begin my saying I truly like You Me Her.
I've been watching this show since it began and look forward to new episodes every Tuesday. However, I was extremely disappointed last night with the Trump bashing that occurred, not once but twice, in this episode.
Not all of your viewers reside within a liberal echo chamber. I watch You Me Her for the personal relationships and trials between Jack, Emma and Izzy, and on a lesser note of Carmen & Dave and Nina & Shaun, NOT for liberal propaganda.
It saddens me that I've had to quit so many shows that I used to watch religiously. I could no longer endure the blunt force trauma I was getting by being pummeled with the liberal agenda that was becoming more and more a part of their storyline.
I'm hoping that last night's Trump bash was a one-off and doesn't continue. Please, don't force me to add You Me Her to the list of shows that I used to love but no longer watch.
